Woohoo...I get to use Mr Greenie two cycles in a row. Maybe we've hit a breakthrough dose...maybe!

DH is home today to monitor, should she still keep moving. Today is my last day before staycation, although the store is still open for a short day tomorrow (my two partners are Jewish, so they don't mind working Christmas Eve.) C'moooonnnnnnn, last minute shoppers - we need a boost! It has been a very weird holiday season for us. We felt the economy several years ago, but these last few years have been better, so it's odd that we're off as far as we are this year. We did have some bad weather a few weeks ago, but it has been fine now. I dunno....this is one of the joys of retail - it's as unpredictable as FD.

Surf it sweet girl. Glad DH will be home with her. as I am sure she is too. :-D

Lots of last minute shopper vines coming your way. Hopefully the store is packed from open to close. Have a great day Amy! Thinking of you and DH. I know this time of year is hard for both of you.

I had gone up the the local coffee place early this morning,which was already busy. So many of those people were talking about how they still needed to shop. A lot of last minute shoppers. I will hope it is the same for you - and that the last couple of days are good ones at TBP.

WooHOO too on that pending staycation. Sounds great!

I noticed this year that the stores here didn't seem nearly as crazy as they normally are...and I would think it's not been a terrible year economy wise.
Not sure what that's all about, but so hoping it picks up big time for you today! Get through this one, then enjoy some time off Amy! You deserve it :-D

WOW...Trixie is doing so great ... There might be a trial in the near future ...fingers and paws crossed ;-)

Hope those shoppers come out today and spend some money with you !

I've been hearing a lot of people are thrown off by how close Christmas is after Thanksgiving this year. I hope you get a lot of last minute shoppers today and tomorrow.

Nice numbers for Trixie!!! She's looking good. Nice you have a vacation in your very near future....put your feet up and relax!!

I think the requirement for everyone to purchase health insurance by the first of the year may have something to do with the lack of people in a lot of stores. I know it's kept me from buying nearly as much as I usually do for Christmas. Somehow, some way, I have to find an additional $250 every month from now on to buy insurance. It's a comfort to know I'll be covered if I get sick, but it will be a big strain on my budget. I hope things pick up for you soon!!!

Patty - I think you could be on to something. I have noticed that other stores are slower this year, too. So far, it's pretty quiet today, too....what can ya do??

What a nice surf! GOOOOOOOOOOO Trixie! Patty could well be right, on the insurance aspect of life these days I now that has impacted me as well, my costs for insurance have risen dramatically too. it does affect what I allow myself to do.
 
We might have us a good dose, at least for now!

The store was quiet again today...I left 2 hours early, and am now officially on staycation. Hopefully the post-Christmas sales will be better!
