Good morning LL!

Tarragon is happy furry purry this morning. He had a rough day yesterday with some pooping problems and then peeing outside the box. Off we go to the vet this afternoon since there was blood in his urine. It is obvious from the way he is laying that his tummy hurts, but, of course, Tarragon just wanted to be held and cuddled all weekend. Poor guy.

At tbp this morning, then off until Thursday. Hope you all have a great day!

Oh no....tons of prayers that little T is fixed up right away! Please keep us posted...tons of vetty vines for the sweet boy.

Thank you Amy! I am sure it is just another UTI, which T always gets. I am hoping they give him something for the pain though.

Poor little Tarragon! I'm sure they will give the wee guy something to keep him comfy, paws crossed. Scritches to T, and hoping tbp goes quickly so you can enjoy your long holiday :-D
Made me laugh about your DH and the kitties too! Remind me if we are ever in your neck of the woods, our DH's can NOT go out together :roll: :lol:

Oh no on Tarragon! Sounds like a UTI, Mannie always got them too. I hope all else checks out OK at the vetty. Be well little one. Good vetty vines for you.

Poor Tarragon!!! I hope this goes away quickly so you can all enjoy your Christmas holiday!! Champ and Tarragon have very closely AMPS' this morning. Let's hope they both hit the down button.

Back from the vet. UTI just as suspected. ABs and bupe on board. They also cleaned out his anal glands, which were packed full. Tarragon is glad to be home and done with humans touching his rear.

Melissa, I'm glad that's all his problem is and can be medicated, to be all better, soon.

Well, drat on the UTI but at least it's treatable. Sending vines for Mr. T to feel better soon. Are you making cheese babies?

Poor Tarragon, all he wants is head butts and scritches and everyone is focusing on the wrong end. :lol: Good thing you got him in and paws crossed for speedy recovery.
 
I'm so glad you got the meds and T is on the mend! Nice PMPS - that bupe must be making him feel good!!! Heal up and feel better, sweet Tarragon!
 
Poor guy. I hope he feels better soon.

(You can always explain about a gyn exam or mammogram and how they probably beat out having one's anal glands expressed when it comes to indignities.)

Sorry about the UTI, but you know how to handle it. Tess got a lot of them too but, knock on wood!, not since we started a combination of glucosamine/chondroitin and cranberry/d-Mannose. We use the Pet Naturals of Vermont treats for both. We were adding crushed supplements to her food but she said enough was enough, She loves the treats though!
