12/23 OT-anonymous angels visit

So, I'm posting this here to share something beautiful with y'all...
and I know that Doc will not spot this posting without Binks' name in the subject line.

A story very in keeping with the compassion and generosity seen daily on the FDMB :-D
(and don't you all agree that if the world in general showed a spirit similar to this board,
it would be an infinitely better place?)

So, my mother was in a panic wondering how we would manage the portion of Tam's hospital costs
not covered by medicare or medicaid...
and this morning I received a call from the hospital financial office telling me that three "anonymous donors"
had arranged to cover the expense.

I know that it was Lisa (Doc) and her parents...
They, of course, will never take credit for it, and I know it would embarrass them if I let on that I knew.
But at least I can give Tamara's "Anonymous Angels" much due recognition amongst the other folks we love...
YOU!!!

(and I know I don't need to mention this...but:
PLEASE if you read this, DON"T mention it in a Binks related condo...
Doc would melt with embarrassment if she knew I shared this with you.)

Whether you know who's wearing the wings or if it is an unknown angel makes no difference. The joy is in the giving and the compassion behind that gift. Our duty is to pass it forward in whatever way, big or small, that we can. What a very special gift for your family.

we do have some pretty special angels...and feel MORE than blessed...

and Pattie...i've had my share of leaky waterworks the last few days too...

(of the tear duct kind...not the other ones) :shock: :lol:
 
Benevolent angels surround us....in friends, in strangers, in loved ones. Bless these wonderful angels and all they bring to us in our time of need.
