LL beans! It is I!, Mannie, kitteh barista! For today I proudly offer Mannie's special 10 hr energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. And for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls...........OH! Tea infusions too, by request. they is primo! I SWEAR! Today: apple cimmamum!

KITTIES!!!!!!! Guess what!! ONLY 2 MORE SLEEPS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!

Yesterday was yellow day in MannieLand, with a very nice blue amps. It sure as nice not to see those other unmentionable colors yesterday. It is also nice to see that the dosecrease was a good choice for Mannie. We hope for a great day today. Maybe back to those blues again. Go for it Mannie! lubs ya big guy. cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D More or less well. The basement is drying, slowly... neither of the kitties are too crazy about the noise that the fans and the dehumidifier are making... Unsettling for them, especially Elsa. So while they are running Elsa is back to sleeping etc upstairs, off in her corner. I was finally able to convince her that sofa sleeping was good too. She finally decided that the bean knew at least one thing, and catnapped on the sofa the rest of the day. :-D Mannie had a decent day yesterday, BG's were ok, he was happy and furry and purry. Our weather has been of and on rains, temps in the high 30's, just a very damp cold out there. Being such, it was a sleep day in MannieLand, at the small suburb known as NannerVille, SE corner of MannieLand. One happy dude sleeping on top of the nanners, and his bed. Both got an equal workout. Appy was great in the morning, off and on for the PM cycle. We ended up supplementing with BF,as I was just too worn to deal with can after can after can, and the BF is an instant gobble up. I tried a few new ones in the morning - big hit then, not so for the PM cycle. Well, we keep on trying. This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club (barely), purrs and lots of cuddles. With encouragement, normalcy in MannieLand. :cool:

Have a great day everyone. Today is another ready for Christmas day: last minute wrapping and DGS gift assembly!... and work on the basement carpets day, yet again... BUSY! I hope to be able to get a walk or hike in to the shore. it's been a while since I have been able to go.... Soon I hope.

Hey everybody! COOKIE DAY!!! again. It could be cookie day everyday don't you think? I LUBS COOKIES! We visited so many cookie shops yesterday - got some really cool ideas and stuff. I was thinking maybe we could camp out in the treehouse and try and bake some. I gots all the stuff I think, and the sauna and hot tub are ready to go... and the woodstove gots lot of woods in it, ready to keep us warm. We be all set! Maybe we can plan our Christmas Party too! Only one night to go!! You guys OK with all of that? You in? Let me know - I am ready for anything! ~ Mannie

Morning Michelle, and oh I see Mannie has his Signature Foam today with his coffee drinks, so nice! That's almost a blue there for the AMPS and looks like Mannie's settling into the new dose. Glad Elsa is listening to Mom and settling on the sofa. :-D Hope your basement soon drys out. Wow with all that rain. We are expecting rain showers tonight, but daytime should be okay. Have a great day today. What did DGS get from you, or I mean Santa Claus? I bet he will be so much fun this year.

Great start, Mannie! So close to the grotto, might as well drop in. Poor Elsa, that stuff is all loud but won't be there too long.

Morning Liz - tht is was, until that +2. Sheshhhhh.... and up he goes, makes me wonder how low he went at night. Lately that seems to be where the good numbers occur, and I miss most of them. Well here's hoping he comes down soon today. I know on Elsa - this has been hard on her, but she seems to be slowly accepting what is. The one on one sessions with her have helped too.

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) It was a great start today, and I just hope that +2 isn't indicative of the rest of the morning! :roll: Me too n Elsa. Poor kitty! She slept with me last night too, so that was good, means she feeling better about it all. yep, some rain this morning here, but it seems to have stopped for now. YAY! We are due for a week of sunny weather about TH or so - I am so looking forward to that. OH YES on DGS and Santa Claus and the whole thing - it will be great, Santa Claus here got him some Duplo/Lego trains. he LOVES trains too, so I hope these will give him a chance to build his own, have some fun with them. Also got him a table and chairs set (that's today's assembly) a wooden set, so he can have his own space here in the house. :-D

Maggie!! Cool! I lubs the sauna too and the hot tub. I still can't believe we got that all installed OK in our tree house. PRIMO! The wood stove is cool too - we will stay warm then. Lookin' for a nice come-down, for him and surf blue today.
You've got lots on your plate to do today. Try to rest between chores and take care of you too, okay :-D

A few chores this AM, a nice shore walk, a few gifts to wrap... then that assembly. That's the way to do it Mannie! Nice and slow and ignore all the bustle going on around you! Poor Elsa, glad she is n't hiding in the corner anymore. any space for her under the tree/ or is that all Mannie's?

I hope Mannie continues to slide down today. Hopefully it won't take too long to get your basement dried out. Poor Elsa. I know kitties hate to have their routines changed.

Tess - bring your mixer but please make sure that the boys don't touch it as they like to make it go really fast and lift it up to watch it twirl and well then they make a mess! I think that's how the chocolate got on the ceiling and then Mannie chased Maggie across the ceiling and that's how the paw prints got there. My bean sez she's going to keep it and make it a new decoration.

Hi Ann - kinda nice isn't it. I said a few words at the +9, but wow - nice recovery at pmps. I so hope for a good cycle tonight. as an FWIW: I did go out today and buy Mannie different foods, one's he ahs not eaten before. to see if part of the appy thing is that he's just tired of the foods that he had when being treated for the UTI, and the Giardia. SO.... Friskies SD Turkey and Giblets tonight, Carbs are OK, not too sure on the Phosphorus. But he did gobble it up. SO far so good! Elsa is better - so far, but the dehumidifiers started yo today - more noise! The main spot under the tree is Mannie's - he's claimed it. She did find a spot on the back side, which actually is a primo spot - near the heat vent! One happy girl. :-D

the sd turkey is low phosphorus, so should be ok to use. I was feeding this to sydney just for that purpose.

Oh Mannie of course you can go diving with us. You and any other kitty that wants to see the fishies up close can come and I will take you all and take all your pics. I love to take pictures underwater! and if you want to touch the fishies or even kiss a shark - go for it! I have kissed a shark or two - honest! and they really aren't scary. yes they have lots of teefies but they aren't scary. I promise you will have fun.

and we can even do a night dive if you want too - you can wear a flashlight on your head so you have your paws free ok.

Looking good Mannie. Keep sliding! It's good to hear that the end of the basement work may be coming. Poor Elsa - kitties do so hate it when their regular sleeping spot is moved. I guess Mannie just sleeps wherever his nanners are located.

Mannie, we got cookies and chocolates going here too. I'll try to steal some for us tonight while they are gone. I tried to sneak part of one yesterday, but the bean caught me. She says thanks for the tea infusions, she really needed something after she kept poking me into the wee hours last night. ~Neko

Hi Wendy - He seems to be doing just that - a nice sow blue slide. What a nice night for him. :-D I so agree on the basement stuff. We've done what we can now time for eh machines t do the est. They seem to be working, so that is good. Yes on the kitties and their sleeping spots. Mannie sleeps upstairs more often on top of the nanners than anywhere else. :lol: :lol: I think I can remember only 3 times in his 15/16 years has he ever slept downstairs on the bed. Elsa is always on the bed. it was good she felt comfortable enough last night to sleep there.

Neko - you got chocolates????!?!?!?!?!?!?!! and cookies???? awesome - brings as many as you can get - just don't get caught ok? ooooooooooooo! I am so glad that your bean likes the tea infusions, they are fun! I is sorry though that she felt the need to pokes you so many times. why they do that...See you tomorrow OK? ~~ Mannie

Poor Mannie and Elsa...I hope the basement will be dry soon. What a pain for you all. Sounds really cold there, too.
