Ok, I think there's definitely something to be said about Lightning giving me better AMPS numbers when I don't test him at night. Is that weird?? I mean, he's been seeming to surf the night away anyways, if I really felt like he needed to be tested I definitely would....but its so weird that when I don't stress about him dropping and wake up every hour to test him, he actually does fine on his own and is in better shape to start the day. Yet another confusing part of this disease I suppose.

He's doing great today, sitting by his feeder as usual waiting for his +2 meal. I'm going to sneak a test in before he eats just to see what's going on....last couple days his +2's have been higher than AMPS so we'll see if same goes for today.

Trying to get out of the house for a few hours for some last minute shopping...can't believe Christmas is in 2 days!!

nice AMPS for Lightning!!! yes...he is probably sending you a message to not poke...who knows....but they tend to surprise us in the weirdest unexpected ways!!!

I went shopping yesterday too and it was a MAD HOUSE around the mall!! Thank god I didn't have to go into the mall, just shopped at a few of the outlying stores.

Ok Lightning, what is up with this? Third day in a row we are going the wrong way...is this that symoglyi (or however you spell it) affect? Does this mean I'm giving him too much (or too little?) insulin? hhhhmmmm......

Well, is it bad that I was shopping...for ME??? I went to DSW yesterday and saw all kinds of cute shoes on clearance! So I HAD to go back! Bought an adorable pair of boots for 40% off!!

Ok, back to the kitty. Kyle took care of him tonight and he had a great PMPS and when I got home at +3 he was green with an 86! Kyle fed him 5% for his first 3 feedings so I'm surprised he stayed low. The past few nights he's been pretty steady on just 3% food. I never know what he's up to, but it cracked me up when I asked Kyle what he fed and he was like "I know what I'm doing" and was so proud that he was green for me! Hopefully he's able to surf tonight! Go Lightning!!!! :mrgreen:
