Well, it had been over 2 weeks without an ugly, nasty red number, but the streak was ruined this morning. I was really tempted to re-test in hopes of a pink, or even just fudge the number a litttle....like 399, but I resisted and there we have it. :roll: I weighed Ebby and she is at a healthy 9 pounds today. I think she got down to 8 pounds at one point, so I think she looks better with the extra pound.
I'm a little worried about her brother Babo. He seems to be looking kind of skinny, although he hasn't really lost that much weight. He also started drinking more water which is weird because I haven't seen him want water ever since he switched to wet food. I tested his BG and it was a lovely 58! It is so weird to see that number on the meter and not run to get some MC or HC food. So, I'll keep an eye on him...maybe just old age or the start of kidney trouble?
