Looks like an increase to 1.25 is needed.

If you can start tonight or tomorrow morning if you feel you'll be more alert to monitor. In any event, start with a +2.

Ok. I did 1.25. I need to test at +2, What about throughout the night? His poor ear. His other ear has a hematoma so part of it is hard and he doesn't want it messed with. We have no idea how he got it but it was at the same time as the UTI and diabetes diagnoses (almost a year ago)

Start with a +2 and post the bg. We will be able to figure out the next test after that. I always tested Max using the same ear.

It was 249. When should I test again? I am getting ready to go to bed.

Just get your usual +4. Most of the time it takes more than one cycle for cats to react to an increase.
