All quiet this morning. Zener had his second serving of first breffis post-shot on his picnic table outside and he's now btb, without me. It's a balmy 22F this morning. ~O) is brewed and sipping while putting up condo. I'm afraid to drink my tea while drawing up Zener's shot because I might mix the two up. :lol:

Zener and Tillie LOVE that I am getting up with them for their favorite breffis time - still dark. I'm sure they worry when Liz bean is away and the morning deadbeat bean is on duty. Sheez, is she still asleep, will we ever get any food today? - Zener and Tillie

@Julie - what a sweet picture you put in our condo last night. It seems like just yesterday Zener was that size! ;-)

Even though not unexpected, the pink sunrise is back. Paws crossed it is a short bounce. We are thinking of everyone ailing and grieving during this holiday season, a difficult time to have sadness. Paws and tails (if we have them) are crossed for Binks' auntie Tam to continue to progress and get out of the hospital before Celi and Binks get sent to the slammer.

Morning Anne, I bet Zener didn't stay out on his picnic bench too long in the 22 degrees brrr weather! I bet they are wondering about Liz. When does she return? I predict a short bounce. Have a nice day Anne.

Liz here, checking in this morning! Linda, thank you for your instructions to Zener not to bounce. We got a good laugh from them. He may be listening. Time will tell! Ann, we sure hope you are right about the short bounce. I am off to eat some breffis, then a bike ride up Sabino Canyon tram road with DS and DBIL then off to visit Marje, Mike, Gracie, Tobey and Gus. They live 1.9 miles from DS. Happy Fursday LL! Thinking of ailing and grieving kitties and beans today.

Morning Ann, Liz, Zener and Tillie. Thanks for the perspective in Jetta's condo. It's hard to see the silver lining sometimes, so thanks for the encouragement.

Sorry to see the bounce, but in keeping with looking for the bright side- at least Zener had numbers pretty enough to trigger a bounce! :cool:

@Jaq - you're welcome for the perspective. I am working on the practice of gratitude, my new goal since FD. And you are so right - it's wonderful he had some lovely numbers to freak out Mr Liver. :lol:

@Ella - Zener knows that Gabby and Jetta are the champs, he's just going for the bronze medal in gymnastics. ;-)

@Roni - we are hopeful the effect of the dental is kicking in on his numbers. His appetite has sure picked up to lumberjack proportions - the bupe did the trick. New mantra - bouncing is normal. :razz:

@Melissa and Mr T - really, why does he bounce so and set a bad example for the other kitties in LL? :roll: Bwaaahhhhaaaaa, the mad scientist is putting on her googles and heading to the bench to mix up something disgusting! :lol:

@Devon - after -9F a couple of weeks ago, 22F does really seem balmy - in short spurts! ;-) Zener loved the attention, so I'll make sure he sees his condo and knows that all his LL aunties love him in blue and green!

@Amy - I found a bunch of liver jpegs on a site that I use at work for teaching pathology. Aren't they great! Hope your coffee didn't hit the screen! :oops:

No rise at ~1 is a good sign that perhaps this bounce will be short lived {{{{anti-jinx}}}} but then who really knows - only the shadow knows! :lol: :lol: :lol: Have a good Fursday LL!

Yuck on getting up while it's still dark - I'm such a deadhead in the mornings. I used to equate myself to those little windup toys that run straight - if a wall gets in the way, it just keeps running against the wall and getting nowhere. ohmygod_smile

We go back for a recheck on Tuesday, so are planning to continue until then. That will be 2 weeks post procedure.

I hope Zener is enjoying his bird-watching! My kitties are always concerned that I will sleep through breffis as well - they have their ways to keep that from happening! Who needs an alarm clock anyway?! :lol: ohmygod_smile

We really loved meeting Liz today...what a very special lady she is!!! We missed not getting to meet you, too, but we understand. Loved all the photos of Zener and Tillie and the incredible quilt of Sedona!! OMG!!!! What an amazing gift!
After she left, Mike and I said "wow.....she is a person we know we would be friends with even if we didn't just have FDMB in common" and I'm absolutely sure we would feel the same about you, Anne. HUGS to you all!!

Awwww Marje - what a lovely message! Maybe one of these days you'll be in Flagstaff or I'll be in Tucson and we can meet in person. Great news on DM!

Isn't it amazing - last night PMPS green and tonight blue. Shocking! :o So happy to see some good numbers post-dental and even happier Zener is starting to feel better! :-D

Love that PMPS! I know what happened. Zener went into the 22 degree weather, and his bounce FROZE! :lol: Glad he is feeling better.

I got a little nervous at the 50 point drop from +2 to +3 so added one drop of karo to see if I could stop the express train. And Z is "steady as he goes" at a little past +4. Since I'm on morning duty for one more morning (Liz will be home tomorrow evening), I'm going to sleep now then get up and test at +6, just in case he decides to drop like he did yesterday in the AM cycle. :shock:
