I'm not sure I would reduce it at all given his past numbers, Lantus can be given as close as 10 hours after the last dose and I know I have given Musette doses with time changes up to an hour early without problems...I would hate for you to lose the progress. I personally would just try to get a couple test in before you need to dose to make sure he is rising and just go ahead and shoot as normal, perhaps just leave him a little extra food to munch on if he thinks he is dropping too low.
