For today I proudly offer Mannie's special 10 hr energy coffee, and triple shot espressos, with beans from Starbucks Pike Place Market, their original blend, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips, white chocolate shavings, dark chocolate curls, and peppermint drizzle.......OH! Tea infusions too, by request. they is primo! I SWEAR! Today: cranberry orange!

KITTIES!!!!!!! Guess what!! ONLY 3 MORE SLEEPS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!

Yesterday was..... BOUNCE day in MannieLand.

and what an ugly one it was... I expected it, after the visit to the green lagoon the day before. I had hoped that it wouldn't be as high as it was. But alas... all the way to the black floor. We will hope for a better day today, and quietly close the door on yesterday. Think blue, think green Mannie!He has a great amps, looking good so far. Lubs ya big guy. cat_pet_icon


All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D, and with Nanner Lake, aka the basement. The flood waters have receded, and the kitties are elated, especially Elsa. She is back to bed sleeping, purring while she sleeps. :-D :-D It is good to see her there, relaxed and back to a normal routine. The carpets are still a little bit of an issue, but we hope to have them somewhat rectified by days end. :-D :-D Mannie and DGS had a great day together yesterday - still best buds, and I don't think that will ever change. Nicholas can sometimes be a little rough for Mannie's old bones, but seems to understand when I remind him to be gentle. They shared lots of pets yesterday. Gentle pets. YAY! :cool: We actually got some sun yesterday - WOO HOO! Blue skies! What a relief for all of us here. Mannie was elated too - he spent some of it sunbathing. A few rays made it into his sleeping area, aka the Nanner pile. :-D This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club, purrs and lots of cuddles. With encouragement, normalcy in MannieLand. :cool:

Have a great day everyone. Today is get ready for Christmas day: grocery shopping to be done!... and work on the basement carpets day... BUSY! I hope to be able to get a walk or hike in to the shore. it's been a while since I have been able to go....

Hey everybody!! COOKIE WEEK continues... I think we need to spend sometime visiting cookie bakeries... maybe travel on the roads and visit as many as we can find. NOM NOM NOM :-D :-D Uhhhhhh we gots to clean up Maui's kitchen too... Ollie ad I tried yesterday, but I guess we missed the chocolate footprints on the ceiling... We can bake somewhere too if anybody wants! I so need some Christmas cookies with lots of gooey frosting,. so... uhhhhh - don't tel my bean, about the gooey frosting part, 'k? AND! We gots a Christmas party to plan too! Where do you guys wanna party? Let me know I am ready for anything!!~~ Mannie

And completely OT: Here are some photos from DGS's and my adventures yesterday: swimming, and a quick visit to a small pond and water all near wher DGS's dad works, He's always comments on it as we drive by so today I thought we'd stop and check it out. Hi guys,

Wow, the Holidays are here and we all have to get with the program!! Mannie, keep surfing safe in the Blue Grotto. Mamabean has lots to do today! Michelle, I hope you can dry out the carpeting. Can you rent some special drying-out equipment? Do you still have your dehumidifier? We ran a hose from ours to the sink so that we didn't have to keep emptying out the container (which could not have handled the job). Good luck! So glad you had some sun yesterday and hope you get some more today.

Need to rent the dehumidifier too. Hear you on the hose set up too. We did something similar last time. I was ELATED to see the sun yesterday - the grounds around here so needed it!

Morning Michelle, Glad your basement is getting back to almost normalcy and great with Elsa on the bed. Cute pics of DGS and always enjoy the underwater baby pics. Have a great day catching up on last minute things. I hope Mannie works this juice dose and gives a nice surf today.

Hi Michelle. Glad you're getting basement somewhat dried out. One less thing to worry too much about.
Mannie's sure starting out nice today. Hope he just surfs blue, so you can do all your Christmas 'stuff'.
Maybe put on some Christmas music and dance while you work :-D

So cute about your DGS and Mannie, kids and animals are so cute together, and what a bond. I had a drooler that absolutely loved all children, he just wanted to sniff them and lick them and have them pet him... And the kids would laugh. Smiling thinking about it.

Mannie, dude... Great start out to the day, and then a bit of a jump.... Have a nice gentle slide back down, ok? And, I know I am kind of late (I went btb and slept the morning away, lol) but I'd love a peppermint white mocha if you have any left. Yum!

Nice start for Mannie today. Hopefully the +2 is just a food spike and he'll get back to blue soon. I bet Mannie was very happy when the sun reached his nanner pile yesterday.

Nice that Elsa can get back to her bed, she must be so relieved. I hope the final stages of the dryout go quickly. It's a good excuse to crank up the heat in the house.

Mannie! A cookie tasting tour! great idea. I bets ours is as good as any we find. 'Cept, we gotta check out the competition at the Danish bakery! Hmph! i tolds you not to turn on the mixer that fast!!! -- Tess

Hi Mannie,

Maui smells very yummy like lavender and sugar cookies all rolled into one. so while you helped wash her in lavender soap, I think you must have given her a body scrub with sugar cookies too! I know you boys did your best in cleaning up the kitchen. I may just keep the chocolate paw prints on the ceiling as a reminder of the fun day you all had.

Michelle - glad to see his numbers are looking better today. and your basement is drying out. I saw Mannie's pile of nanners and he has lots of them! wow nanner heaven!


he mannie - what did you and Ollie do to me! I smell funny and my bean won't stop touching and sniffing me - yuck! she said I smell like flowers and cookies and am good enough to eat! Yikes!

If you want to visit bakeries there is an awesome chocolate chip cookie shop downtown Philly! and we can go to Jersey City and visit Buddy the cakeboss. I bet he's got lots of fancy cookies and maybe we can get him to make Mannie, Ollie, Mags, Tess and Rusty shaped cookies! I bet he can decorate them really cool and even make your bus, my jet and the tree house too! Hopefully he will just take a picture of us, so we don't have to sit still while he makes everything.

And good thing your numbers are better so that we can go have fun without anyone poking and prodding at you all day.

Morning Barb ~O) ~O) ~O) We are slowly getting there. I wish it was instantaneous, but alas patience is required. :? It was a great start for Mannie, and a nice low level yellow surf. I think this is good for him today - flat, low yellow, chance to recover from the bounce the other day, but not so low to send him skyward again. and... I LOVE IT! Christmas music to work by - that will lift the spirits for sure!

Morning Kathie ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on the basement. Me too on the hike - maybe later today. Even a short two miler would be good. They always tend to mellow out things for me, so I really hope I can go. Auntie Hilary! Doesn't Maui smell great??? My bean has this really cool soap, lavender something-er-other. It smells so nice. She washed my bum with it, even though I tell her BOYS DO NOT WEAR LAVENDER! She doesn't listen.... heeheehee on the sugar cookies... we did! Michelle, I am so sorry I haven't been keeping up with everyone and I didn't know the flood water got to your house. Poor you! I'm glad things are looking sunnier in your neck of the woods. You have had a pretty bad time with the weather.

Not too bad for Mannie today after the big bounce yesterday.

Hi Georgia - no worries! I now you have your hands full at home. THX too, we are drying out little by little. It has been nice to see that the rains have held off dome - things so need to dry out here. :shock: :-D I think so too on Mannie - been a decent day for him today. M & M!!!!! Here we are to say Hi!! Sorry about your water problem, we know all about that one--
The neighbors told us the water was up to the doorknobs on our doors & the water was like that for hours!
Our house was one big aquarium!
Hope yours dries up quickly & all will be normal once again-- I take it Mannie's nanners drowned, Moonie feels bad for him :cry: --But we know you will get him bigger and better nanners.!
Gee Nicholas has grown! Such a shining smile!! He is amazing..

Hi Roni - it is good to hear from you. I hope you guys are doing well, adjusting. Hey THX on the water problem - such a hassle isn't it. We were not a severely impacted as you, and area managing to deal with the mess. Drying out as we speak. And the nanners were spared! much to the relief of the nanner king... :-D THX on Nicholas - he is growing so fast. Wishing a happy holiday to you and yours.
