Good Morning World! Welcome to our home! Last Condo

AMPS 142

KT is looking and acting well but he's losing weight very noticeably - lost 1.5lbs in last 2 months. I'm taking him in after new year and having blood panel done. I can't find anything that seems 'wrong' with him, all P's in place. He's currently eating more Fancy Feast than usual but that's never made him lose weight before. We'll figure it out!

Share our blessings! Haven't posted a condo in a couple of days, have been busy busy busy. The FIRST one I want to share happened Monday leaving my heart so full...

As I walked toward the entrance of WallyWorld, the Bell Ringer was ringing, a little boy about 4 or so had a whole handful of change putting each coin singly in the bucket slot. The smile on his face just lit up the world. I stopped and told him how I liked seeing him giving that money to help someone else. He turned that smile up to ME, held out a coin and said "You want to put one in too?". Of course I HAD to take it and share his joy. What a blessing in the middle of a crowd of hurrying people.

This morning I received a message....'SOMEONE' bought us raffle tickets!!! THANK YOU WONDERFUL 'SOMEONE'!!!! I don't know why I'm so blessed but I won't DOUBT! Now I'm REALLY excited about the raffle!!!!

And ANOTHER one to share. I moved all my tender plants in Scruffy's room for the winter, cut down on water and feed. This morning, I walked thru the door to let Schniggles out - facing me was a HUGE open bright pink Hybiscus bloom! I didn't even notice the bud yesterday! I felt like I was handed a beautiful bouquet for no reason. THEN I walk out front by 'Sentry Hill' where Harley and Samson Drooler's are - there on their plant was not only a big purple MUM bloom, there was a Lady Bug on it...our 'LadyBug' crossed in 2004 and is about the most 'missed' one.

Did you think all these were enough? NO!!! I walk to the back to feed ZiggyBear and find a single long stemmed red rose bud on a plant I thought died this summer! It's one of my 'memory' plants, Miss Nelda sent me a big hug!

So we leave you today with a BIG HUGE HUG and hope you'll join our YARD DANCE!!!

What a lovely way to celebrate the holiday -- blessings, indeed!!

I wonder if KT may be hyperthyroid. You might ask the vet about a complete thyroid panel.

Merry Christmas, Lyresa, to you, your fur family, and your bean family.

This is a wonderful condo. You are indeed blessed. The flowering plants and the Lady Bug are messages for sure. The story about the little boy is priceless. We are joining in your giant yard dance today and throughout the Holidays.

Lots of love and hugs to you all from us,

Ella, Edward and Rusty

p.s. Another "symptom" of Hyper-T is over-grooming--actually tugging at fur. (Stu did this.)

Wow, all these flowers blooming after those wicked cold temperatures of a couple of weeks ago? That is amazing. Also amazing are the people in LL and what they know about cats! :-D I hope you figure out what is going on with KT and it's easily treatable. Hugs to you and all of the critters.
Liz
