No BG#s right now- forgot the log book at home. Havn't updated the chart since monday. He has been running about high 200s-low 300s. Doesn't surprise me but I'm sticking to the 0.5u dose to see how the shed fills up (after 2 missed shots saturday PM and sunday AM).

He is a happy cat, running around more. I've been trying different foods to see how he reacts-allergy wise. Well so far Merricks BG Turkey is TRUE hit with KHAN.. couldn't get enough. I tried to move the bowl away and paw came right out and pulled it back, tried again and he nipped me! very funny. Now his ears did get beet red so I cooled both down with wet cold washcloth. Seemed to do the trick- but time will tell.

Yes I'm having a hard time with dealing with Wisp - I gave her fluids last night since her stool is so small and hard. she was purring later on yet I know she must get to the vet.. I'm hoping today or tomorrow. She sleeps right next to me or next to Khan. I know we all wish it weren't so when the time comes to say good-bye but that is the cycle of life. At this point I have 2 choices: determine if pain medication will help or if that is me being selfish or just say goodbye no matter since I do know she is showing me the signs her body is giving into the breast cancer. Just sucks. I will keep you posted.

Good morning guys .. I guess I did not realize what problems you were having with wisp .. I'm sorry you are going through this right now .. it is never easy to deal with .. I know you will do the right thing for her ...

Sorry to hear about Wisp...thoughts and prayers are with you right now....

Funny about Khan......Curry hates the Merrick w/turkey.....too bad cuz I have plenty of cans....I started mixing it w/some of her FF just to get rid of it.

(((Jenee))) Sorry to hear about Wisp, it's very hard to watch them go downhill and know their time is coming....I know you will do what is best for her. Hang in there, I've been in your shoes, as many of us have...I know it sucks, I wish there was some way to make it easier. :YMHUG:

It's hard to know what's going on with Khan without the numbers in the SS, so hopefully you will get a chance to update it soon. By this point, his shed should be refilled, so you may be looking at a failed reduction. But let's see the numbers and talk about it.

Everyone's support means the world to me. Thank you. We all know how hard it is to say goodbye. Harder on us than them. I do not know how my other cats will react. I am very nervous about that. I can only pray that they already understand. Her originally owner (my ex-motherinlaw-Sharon) is waiting in heaven for her so she will be SOOOO happy. She loved Wisp sooo much. It is why I have all the cats that I do- the whole family. Sharon died in a car accident right before Christmas 8yrs ago. We promised each other to do what is best for the cats if either one of us died (strange we had that conversation -since she was only 50). Oh well fate- what more can I say? She would be proud that I kept my word as well as give me a scolding that I've at times broken the bank. Ah! it is only money- the love & lives mean more to me. I've gained more than lost having all these cats. We will have both gained from Wisp's love. :)

I will update Khan's chart very soon-- My goal is to update within the next 2 hrs before the evening shot so I know what to shoot. Keep an eye out if you can thanks!
 
What a big heart you have and how wonderful to be the bean for those kitties.

I think Khan needs a dosecrease but I would be far more comfortable suggesting it if you had a few spot checks more toward the middle of the cycle.

Thank you. :) A bit crazy here with many other things going on but all is good now. I had family come over to help me and that really helped and I have off tomorrow! so a dose increase can be done and I can spot check since I have 4 days at home to monitor. I'll bump up to 0.75 amps and see what happens.. what do you think?

Wisp was in a happy mood when family was here. Tomorrow I'll see if I can get her in.
