Hey everyone just wanted to post a quick Jupe update. He is doing great!! Finally feeling better and recovered from his chemo...
and great news.... His next/LAST is scheduled for January 4th!!! WOOHOO cant wait for him to finally be done with chemo!!! His bloodwork will probably be the friday/day before. We are hoping to have the car fixed... OR... praying it wont be snowing that day or the day before.
Before his last chemo treatment I asked the tech some questions to ask the oncologist:
What further treatment or tests after the last round of chemo?
What is his prognosis now thats hes had amputation and when hes done with chemo?
What are chances Jupe will remain cancer free?
This is what she wrote... quoted from the vet report:
"Mr Jupity looks good today. It is disappointing to hear that he felt punky after his last chemo treatment, and hopefully he does not experience this after todays treatment. After Jupiters last doxorubicin dose, recommended monitoring is thoracic radiographs and abdominal ultrasound once every 3-4 months for the next year. No further treatment would be indicated if he continues to stage free of evidence of hemangiosarcoma. To be honest: I am cautiously optimistic that Jupiter is going to be a long time cancer survivor"

Oh that just makes me
Vines and prayers to all those in need, including Champ and Lucy, and all others that need them
I havent been feeling well... and have been passing a lot of kidney stones recently. I apologize for my absence here and want to wish you all a wonderful holiday season. Merry Christmas and Happy New year to you all!!!
