Gracie's Yesterday

Happy Fursday!!! Sending more healing vines to Celi's DS, Tam, today and prayers for Karrie's Nike and any others who need them.
We hope this is a sign that Gracie is starting to settle into her new insulin pen and dose. I'm convinced that the last pen was the problem since we opened it. Her numbers have been wonky ever since we did. But ....we all know denial ain't just a river in Egypt and like Ann said yesterday "who cares why" :lol: :lol: So paws crossed that she is going to leave that icky pink behind and get back into lovely Gracie numbers. She's been a happy little girl today...playing and purring and all 5Ps in place.
Our highlight today was that Zener's bean, Liz, came to visit!! She is such a lovely and fun person. We all immensely enjoyed her visit and she even got to hold Gracie. Of course...it didn't hurt at all that she was sweet enough to think of bringing an offering of a toy....string on a stick!! It has quickly become Gracie's and Tobey's favorite toy.
It was hilarious because as long as Liz had her back to Gracie, then Gracie was hopping around her little throne and did a somersault but as soon as Liz turned to look at her.....statue pose....not playing if she's looking at me. :lol: :lol: :lol: Our only wish was that we could have met Anne, too, because we are sure she is every bit as delightful as Liz. Liz shared some great photos and videos of Zener and Tillie....what sweet kitties. There were some great ones of the two of them playing under a rug and I told her she has to post them...they were hilarious.
Great news on the DM front: she's moving to the SNF associated with her ALF apartment today. She sounds strong and clear-headed. I know she has a lot of therapy to do to regain strength and some walking abilities but she sounds better than she has in a month. It will prolly be early Jan when I go back over so she'll perhaps be in her apt again. Thank you all, again, for all the miraculous LL prayers!!! THEY WORK!
