Yesterday's Condo

It's a quiet morning. DS is gone and our normal routine is restored. Gabby is guarding the hallway with a catnip sock between her paws. (Gabby got a holiday present and she is 'VERY protective of her catnip sock. Gizmo got whacked for getting too close.) Gizmo has been playing fetch. I keep getting a spring dropped at my feet!

Awwwww, Gabby was a good girl and Sandy Claws brought her a catnip sock. Did Sandy Claws bring a Catmus present for Gizmo?

Sandy Claws brought 2 socks. Gizmo checked his out and wandered off. He's not got the same predilection for catnip that Gabby does. Gabby LUVS catnip. Gizmo did, however, have to investigate what Gabby was so interested in. (Gabby had the sock clutched between her paws, was rubbing her face with it, and rolling around.)

Hi guys .. yay for gabby being back in blues! How lucky your kitties are that santa paws came so early .. our girls are still being warned they have to be good for three more days or santa paws just might now show up nailbite_smile Hope you guys have a great day!

how sweet! my daughter's cat goes straight for the bananas when he arrives, grabs hold of one, rubs his face, licks it, then looks up and hisses in case anyone is thinking of threatening him. preventive hissing, you know. ;-)

i need to find some of those springs. anya is a fetch-er and would probably love them.

Gabby had just finished playing with the catnip sock. Gizmo was swatting at her from above. A good time was had by all (sort of).

Cute picture! I get exactly what you mean "A good time was had by all (sort of)." Happens here too :lol: :lol: too funny. And thanks for the advice last night on Jetta- looks like you were exactly right. Pooped out insulin requiring a shed refill.

LOVE the picture. Those two are so gorgeous!!! Did they have the catnip snoozies when they were done?

Those two are sure darn cute on their condo, basking in the catnip aftermath! When I come back in my next life, I want to be someone's a kitty in LL, a civvie kitty preferably, I hate getting shots! :lol:

thanks for the link on the springs! i ordered one set that will, no doubt, delight anya. perhaps even punkin will be slightly tempted.

love the cat tree! they look look like it's fun (sort of!) :lol:

Tonite looks promising! Your kitties look so happy--Moonie rubs her face in the catnip thingy, chews for a bit & then swoons for a while :lol: :lol: :lol: --So great to be them!

BTW Just remember LL is a place of Peace, Love & healing...It is for us, and that's all that matters! Anyone is welcome with an open mind. It is our home.

That is NOT Gizmo on top of the condo. Gizmo is a kitten. When did Gizmo stop being a kitten? If he isn't, then I'm older, and that's not possible.

Sorry I missed in your condos that DS was there. Still thinking good thoughts for her.

Gizmo will be 3yo in Feb. However, he's a larger breed cat (Norwegian Forest Cat) and they don't reach maturity until the age of 5. He's still a kitten.

THAT'S ONE BIG KITTEN! But thank you. I feel so much younger now!

Sienne, I hate to be the one to break this to you, but you are going to have one mammoth-sized cat. I think Gabby had better start being a LOT nicer to Gizmo!!!

If this is what Norwegian Forest CATS look like, I wouldn't want to encounter a Norwegian Forest bear!

Just think what he'll look like when he's 5!! Great pic, Sienne. They do look like they are enjoying themselves, after a fashion. Nice +4 for Gabby tonight. It must be the 'nip!

our boy cheddar (GA) was a large boy .. He was far bigger then both girls at just a year old .. We could hear him thumping through the house when he walked around .. Unfortunately he passed suddenly from an unknown heart condition at just over a year but to this day we joke that if he was still here, we could probably ride him like a lion!
