Happy Furrriday :)

Feeling much better today. Whatever was in my digestion was process. Just a bit weak.

Fistuk was very weak yesterday. When he walked, which was only when I forced him out of bed to try and pee, he looked as if he's careful to not break anything. It was painful to watch.

I gave him a second drop of CBD last night. I'm learning how long it takes him to metabolise it. Experimentation time. Did some reading yesterday about CBD for cats. If anyone has some knowledge/resources to share I'd love it.

Second drop of CBD seems to helped. This morning at +10 he went to the toilet, did the poop poop pedoop dance and charged back to the room, meowing for food. I gave him a tsp but after 20 mins he asked for more and then again. So we have a food bump for AMPS.

Started Cosequin last night, one capsule opened and into his food.

Yesterday was AM & PM cycles full green. Made me happy that in spite it all his sweet body is doing very well.

Wishing you all a wonderful day :bighug::bighug:

Good morning Shelly! Maybe he's got a little BG bump from being so sore. His little body's gotta repair those muscles he hasn't used in a long time. ;) Hoping to see him come down gently in just a bit here. Glad you are feeling better! :bighug:

Hi Shelly, so glad you are feeling better today. I’m glad Fistuk went poop poop at the bakery. That’s always a great news.
I’m sorry he’s feeling so stiff. Hopefully the cosequin also will help. That’s good for their joints. It sounds like it makes sense why his BG might go up due to soreness and maybe even all the green bg.
Who knows, right? Hopefully things will come down into line since you are putting new regimens into place to support his system.
It’s such a delicate balance.
Wishing you both a feel good day and a gentle surf for your sweet boy :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I sure hope so, Alli. He had a couple of days where he started moving around and being doolally and now he's moving so slowly and stiffness it's hard to watch. I hope everything he gets starts kicking in quickly :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Yes, it's hard to know. We can make best guesses
My sense is telling me it's more to do with having a strict of full green. It's not qualified as a bounce, bc we know all well what this looks like. Maybe I'll call it grounce ;)
I took him out of his poof to move a bit and pulled a ribbon to play with. he was interested but you can see his body is reluctant to move.
I hope you're having a good morning :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Shelly,
Glad you are feeling better.
Sounds like Fistuk is still stiff in his legs, I'm very sorry.
This was years ago with my previous kitty, I used to give a daily SubQ injection of glucosamine for arthritis that the home visiting vet recommended.
Not sure if it really worked magic, but it certainly didn't hurt. Something to think about and talk with your vet, perhaps?
Hope your Friday is calm and relaxing :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Morning Shelly I'm glad you're feeling better.
I'm bglad the second dose of the of CBD helped. Keeping my fingers crossed adding the cosequin will help even more.
Hope you both have a nice a day Shelly :bighug::bighug::bighug::cat:

I'm so glad to hear you're feeling better.
Fistuk needs his mama to be well cause you take such wonderful care of him.
I hope CBD helps his legs and stiffness. It breaks my heart knowing our fur babies are not well but also I know Fistuk is in such good hands.
When Nestle wasn't doing so good with his neuropathy and couldn't walk much I'd also massage him while he was lying down. Maybe that's something you'd like to consider for Fistuk?

I hope you enjoy your chocolate banana dessert :p

I wish you both a boring day and evening

Hi Kit :)
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll def explore it.
he's in pain but looking frail and not miserable. When he looks miserable I can't rest. My heart breaks.
I hope the CBd kicks in soon :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Karolina :)
Yes it breaks my heart! He's such a cute, sweet, adorable boy.
I do massage his legs and give him a spine massage. he does like it.
I read bit about CBD last when I was a zombi in bed. It looks like the benefits also built up over time. I'm curious to see how he's going to be in a week or two on CBD.

Thank you for your kind words. I was really off yesterday. Still weak today but stomach ok. But I did get up to test him at night which I wasn't sure I'll be able to :joyful:
So now we're waiting for Santa?:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Poor baby. I’m sorry he’s having a grounce! Great new vocabulary word, btw.
His cycle today looks green and good. I hope that makes him feel better. I bet the Cosequin will help. May take a little time.

I take glucosamine chondroitin for some arthritis pain in my fingers and it helps enormously.
I hope you are having a calm and boring evening. :bighug::kiss::bighug:

Thanks, Staci xx
I'm happy to hear you hade good experience with this. Sorry to hear you're also suffering from arthritis.
Normally it's recommended to stop drinking coffee for arthritis but Fistuk has always been a green tea fan ;)

Can’t give up my 2 cups in the am. But glad it’s not a problem for Fistuk!! Green tea is much healthier :p

I stopped drinking coffee basically but started after FD diagnosis with all the stress. Now I'm cutting back again. Since menopause I started feeling pressure in my fingers' knuckles and when I don't drink coffee it's gone. I love green tea. I have a nice collection of teas but every now and then I'll have a cup of coffee, especially if I get unpasteurised sheep milk and local honey :joyful:
