Good evening,
@cecile & bella @Madeline528 @Diane Tyler's Mom GA
Thank you so much for checking on us!!!

I am to my surprise still sick, that is why I didn't gave an update yesterday. Seems I catched beside my cold a conjunctivitis. I don't feel I can work tomorrow and I will go to the doctor.
I hope I didn't infected Binie with the conjunctivits. I wash hands all the time but I can not guarantee that nothing happened before I realized.
I don't see Binie much because she spends most of her time in the living room without me. If I am sick, she doesn't like to be close and maybe that is wise. She sometimes comes and checks if I am still alive, that's it.
Her urine results came yesterday and it is like I feared, she has three germs in her bladder. The same three which made her so sick in summer, two in high quantity. The vet told me before her holiday to not treat with antibiotics if there aren't any symptoms but I wonder if that is right for an already sick cat with three germs, two in high quantity. I feel a bit lost, because I don't know who could give reliable adivce and who is available during the holiday season. Some of the local vets are open between Christmas and New Year but I don't trust them too much in this complicated question.
The first thing I did was to up her dose of d-mannose, because one of the germs is e.coli. She got d-mannose all the time but just a little sprinkel in the morning and the evening. Now she gets 1 g, diveded throughout the day. The other germ is proteus mirabelis and I read that it is sensitive to the oils in rosemary. I try to give Binie dried rosemary in her food but she is not a fan.
I have the antibiotics at home to treat the e.coli and proteus mirabilis if she shows more severe symptoms. So far I don't see any besides the drinking and the peing which she had all the time while being diabetic. That is why I am not so alarmed that I feel I have to make a decision NOW.
The third germ is the enerococcus, the germ no antibiotic could kill. To my amazemend the quanitity is less than in the last test.
She is still licking her breast but not that violently. The fur is still there. Today I touched it while she was distracted with her favourite snack and there are knots under the skin. She didn't seem to feel pain, when I was touching it.
I am not sure if I tested enough and if I missed lower numbers, for example today. After she was 265 at +5 I thought I can stop testing for the day but she had a low preshot (271), so she might have been lower today.
Her whole health situation is confusing me. But she seems to feel o.k. Not great, but o.k.
Hope everyone has a nice evening. I will try to check everyone but I don't know how long my batterie lasts...
