Yeah, they are very frustrating. Just when you get him down and keep him down to almost acceptable levels his body decides that it prefers to stay much higher and fights against your effort.

I'm really hoping that a dental exam will give us some insight soon.
 
Regarding the blood ketone test strips, I called around to a couple local pharmacies, and they could order them and have them in a day. Just for your future reference.

Hi Mike, Whatever his daily numbers say, when you look at the big picture you are making very good progress. On the board we often call the dive-bounce thing "Liver Training School" (LTS). Webster's liver is working great!! It just needs a little more "Liver-training 101".

Have a good day. I hope you can get out again for a few hours. Do you have a Costco near you? You might try them for the Novamax strips. You don't have to be a Costco member to use the pharmacy.

Thanks Dayna. I ordered 20 more and they should be here by the end of next week, if not sooner. In the meantime, I have about 5-6 to work with.

Liver training 101. Very interesting.

He's made quite a bit of progress as far as not diving fast and that's been a relief! Now... just to get his numbers down...

I'll have to keep Costco in mind for future reference. Thanks.
