Cool your jets! She is just fine. IDEXX says anything up to 175 is normal so she is well below their standards. :):bighug:When did you last feed her? Check her again 2 or three hours post food to put your mind at rest. If she is down, you know her pancreas is doing it's job.

How low can her numbers go, and do I have to be concerned with a hypoglycemic event, or if her numbers go below 67?

If she drops to the low 70s, she is typically scarfing down her food. She has food deprivation issues. So I don't want her to psychologically feel like she's not going to have a food resource.

On a human meter cats can run in the 40's normally so while I can't tell you exactly what the range would be for a pet meter, I can assure you that going below 67 with a pet meter is NOT an issue with no exogenous insulin on board. Menace is food nuts too and I know her BG goes up if I don't feed her when she feels it is her privilege to do so. :p

You don't really have to worry about hypo episodes once they are OTJ. You can see from my Darwin's numbers that he loves to keep it very green, and usually lime green! I use a human meter, but he's been into the low numbers when I've checked him on an AT2 as well. He stayed super low during his whole OTJ trial!

Happy Day 12!! Looking forward to meeting you at the falls!!
