Good morning all, happy winter solstice and Saturnalia!

Quickie again this morning bc stalwart Alex arriving soon to help tackle Feng shui (haha more like Strew Out day) for clutter.

Sootie's ambg 54, met me at stair landing this morning, ate some, then right on cue for guzzling morning remedy and then ear prick and treats. Nope so far on pharmos. Try later. Still blinking as if a dream that today is her otj/skipped shot day #12 ! That is if I'm counting right?!

Azalea under the bed but out from under for Breffis. Quite perky. Tented her again to check hydration, it's ok but def near time for a fluids boost and B12.

Spunky def a pest this morning...now it's the boxes of bandaids and tube of hand cream getting flung to far reaches.

Vines galore for Gentle day and Happy appy for all. ❤️❤️❤️

So exciting for Sootie... no more injections is such a happy thing!!! Keep healing little Azalea... hope you have a great day with little kitty drama :bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
I brought Azalea to vetty for fluids, b12, recheck and weight. She always eats better after fluids and b12 too.
She's never liked having fluids st home, I could see her flinching when I set up the bag. No point stressing her out, and with weather warmer today, we went on a short outing.
Much as she doesn't like having fluids or needle sensations, she is more obliging there as long as one of the softer voiced techs does it, Weight today 6# on vetty's scale, was 6.1# day before surgery last Friday. She ate soon as we got home from fluids boost. And is napping now. Segovia on Pandora.

Sootie having cozy snooze in front bedroom. Was almost sunny this morning, the afternoon overcast now approaches.

Stalwart anti-strew helper this morning took to the attic over ten years' worth of file boxes of papers having to do with me being my mothers primary caregiver as well as over five years of waste regarding her estate (long story about classic family dysfunction). Would like to burn it all in a New Years purge. Cleared a lot of physical space that this afternoon will clean, wash floor and make neat and tidy. I'll have to make a huge sign that warns DH: don't you even think about filling this space!!!

What a great report for both girls and you! Go girl clearing your space. This New Year will bring some of the same for me. It really does change the energy in the house when the clutter is gone.

Happy day 12 and tomorrow is the party! Gotta go an iron something nice for Bubs to wear. He has this favorite Kelly green shirt he likes to wear this time of the year with a red tie. :rolleyes:

The older I get and the more difficult physical projects become, the more OCD I get about it. Clutter and not finding stuff without going through the abysmal ritual of having to do ten things to make way to accomplish one thing drives me nuts! DH oblivious to how claustrophobic, limiting and prohibiting it is. Found tons of fuzz bunnies. Yay! But Dancer's been sneezing all day. Oh well.

Did Sootie's pmbg a little early tonight. Was 83, to which I'd guess is reflection of that all the decluttering discombobulations were a little disconcerting and, as DH said when he came home "I want to assure you that Sootie ate all of her food by early afternoon." Plus, she came downstairs around 5:30, stayed for about an hour, sampling and rejecting 3 fud offers , but I did get in some omezaprole goo before she went back upstairs, me following with suppers and to do Bg while the gettin' was good. So let's add p'o'd by a mouthful of omezaprole to the possible reasons higher Bg equation?

I think I'll add kitchen (it's tiny) reorganization too. She keeps looking at the places they used to eat at in the "pre-I'm moving upstairs, thank you" years. Bo had adopted the downstairs, particularly the kitchen as his HQ until the month or so before his passing, when I moved him into downstairs bedroom next to me and with Spunky.

Ok, Sootie, I'm listening !

Azalea was up and at the ready for suppertime with DH. Dove right in. Woo hoo.

Hoping Gussie feeling better and excited about a skipped shot party (anti-jinx and crossing paws) soon! Sootie is looking for those castanets!

How did your holiday baking go??? ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Yes Bobbie agree absolutely...too bad I seem to be the only one in household who feels that way!!!!
Tomorrow's the party?!! Gosh I thought it was on day 14! I hope Sootie remembers where she put the castanets for clicking her party loving Flamenco heels! hmmm...what would Sootie like to wear??!!
Love Bubba's holiday garb. Sootie says, "yo, Bubs! I'm bringing my dance card!"

Whew! Must be Bubba up for a party. The cold Full Moon party was swell, said Sootie and all. Thank you, Tricia!
