Good Morning, Everyone,

Holding Hillary in our hearts this morning and remembering all of our beloved kitties who have journeyed to the Bridge in recent days.

It is a rainy, foggy morning in the North Country and we all went btb after AMPS. When it freezes, which may be soon, it will be a skating rink outside! No mountain climbing for our little group tomorrow, although the Saranac Lake Winter 6er Challenge kicked off at midnight last night. (The kick-off is a special climb of all 6 mountains in 1 day--only for the hardy, and the foolish??)

Rusty had a good night. He was a perfect host yesterday afternoon, when some friends dropped by before the Xmas party. This morning he is napping in his little bed by the radiator. The beans may go to the landfill today. The streets are not icy yet and it will be good to get ahead of the Christmas-New Year's rush.

Everyone have a fine caturday and stay safe from all the storms that seem to be raging everywhere.

Ella & Rusty

How nice of Rusty to be the gentleman host :-D Such a great kitty you have Ella!
I think skipping tomorrow's climb is very sensible! It should be an enjoyable experience..not life threatening and bone breaking! :o Ice...yikes!
Any big alternative plans?? More yummy bean fuds??

Looks like a nice slide for Rusty today  Wow, I hurt just thinking about 6 mountains in 1 day. I'm glad you are staying safe instead, with those sorts of conditions :o :-D

Hi Ella - sorry for the late visit. I kept getting side tracked today.

WOW!, and nice to see that green in the cycle today Way to go Rusty: back to the lagoon for you.

I love it how Rusty will play host when you have folks over. it seems like he always makes an appearance. That reminds me of Mannie, who never ever missed a gathering. He loved all the people. Sounds like Rusty does too.

Wow on the ice potential. Stay safe out there. It sounds like a wise move to cancel the mountain climb for your group. Better safe than sorry. ;-) I will wish all those partaking in the Saranac Lake Winter 6er Challenge. That sounds like quite the climb(s)

I hope your day was a good one. enjoy too what is left of the evening. :-D

Hi again,
This was a chillin' out day for all of us. Rusty slept all day. We didn't feel like doing much after the busy day yesterday, so didn't! We did get to the landfill. The weather is horrible. Heavy rain and thick fog all day. But there were a bunch of cars parked at the parking area for Mt. McKenzie (the highest and toughest of the 6), so the intrepid were out there doing the "6- in- 1- day challenge."

Wishing all a good night.

Ella & Rusty

p.s. I ring the bell 6 times every time I go by it (I am the 137th climber to complete the 6). Only people who have completed the "6" are allowed to ring it.

Nice trip to the lagoon for Rusty today. Paws crossed he returns there soon. Looks like a good grotto visit cycle tonight.

Yuck on your weather. Best to stay warm inside and snuggle a kitty tomorrow.

Nice slide for Rusty today!!

Wow...that is an accomplishment!!! However..you know me....it just sounds Arctic there

You must have had a lot of cimmamum goodies at the party. Tobey still smells like cimmamum and has little reddish flakes all over his coat.
