Good morning everyone. I woke up this morning and decided not to continue using my Mayan calendar anymore. :o :o

PurrFace had a pretty good day yesterday, with all blue numbers except for the AMPS & +2. The last time he had an AMPS around the 161 area was on the 17th when he had a 175 and then dropped into the green with a low of 43 that day. Based on that I'm kind of expecting him to get into the mid greens today but PurrFace has been known to not do what is expected.

Morning John, I'm not sure what the Mayan calendar is, but I'll trust you on it. Nice AMPS for PurrFace and looks like a nice day for him and you.

ETA -- Oh I got it -- the Doomsday thing! :lol:

Ann, I knew of the Mayan calendar but never thought of it either until the news media began telling us their interpretation that since the calendar ended on 12/21/12 it meant the world would end on 12/21/12. Maybe if the media talking heads had cared for some diabetic cats they would have known that no matter how much you think you have things figured out you can't predict what something really means, whether its a calendar ending or a BG number. Have a very Merry Christmas.

Slide down the rainbow gently Mr PurrFace. No need to get dramatic for the holidays! The end of the calendar simply marks a time of renewal. This world could definitely use some of that! Have a great day!

I hope PurrFace came down for you today. I totally missed the song for the day. Jimmy Buffett has a song called Party At The End Of The World. It say's. "The bad news is, the world is ending...The good news is, There's a party!"

Hi Tara. PurrFace slid slowly but unfotunately he slid in the wrong direction. Hopefully this is temporary and he'll turn around.

Hi Mary. As you can see PF didn't come down. As I said before he's the driver, I'm just along for the ride. I was surprised there wasn't a song but knew you had a lot of stress working on Oliver's dose and probably a lot to get prepared for Christmas and skipped it. Party at the end of the world would have been perfect for today especially if you could find it being sung in the Mayan language.
