Yesterday
So, we have somehow stepped into the Twilight Zone. :-| Beautiful greens yesterday followed by ugly Pinks. The Moon King is really going crazy on this Full cold Moon with a total Lunar Eclipse. He has 3 Ps so far today. What a sweet boy he is. I know, i keep saying that, but he is just really soooo sweet! All is fine with him, thankfully.

OT: for myself, I have an appointment at 3:30 today with a surgeon to talk about doing a biopsy on a lobulated cold nodule in my thyroid. I have symptoms that are related to hot nodules so this is totally confusing to me. They have to rule out cancer through a biopsy of the cold nodule. They will not give me any meds to relieve my hyper symptoms until the get the biopsy results. I guess the good news is that I do have multiple nodules so that is better than just having one ugly lobulated cold one.
Hey, how about packing for a trip to NY for a few days to celebrate Christmas right in the middle of all this? Why sure, sounds great to me! :-| Mustering up some serenity here..so any vines you have to spare would be appreciated. I don't want to play this game anymore either...along with the FD game. I want to curl up in a ball with my two kitties and smell the Christmas tree right here in my own living room. Let me shake in peace.

Do try to enjoy yourself in New York City. I can understand that the timing may not be the best, but I am sure it will be a beautiful city at Christmas time.

Oh my shadow, what are you doing up on the pink floor with mocha today? I hope you guys both decide to come down a few floors and hang out with the other kitties ..

Hi Pat,
Lots of positive thinking today for your doctor's appointment. Heaps of vines and, yes, snowflakes too for the cold nodule. I hope that all will go well and that you'll be able to get those meds soon. And as for your trip to NYC: it will be good for you to get away for a few days. And it IS a beautiful time to be in the city. And when you get home you'll have your two loving kitties to welcome you. So put all the medical stuff on the back burner, drink a little champagne, and have some fun with your family in the city.

Shadow, please come down off the pink floor for your bean. A nice yellow or blue surf would be helpful.

(((Pat))) Sending good doctor visit vines along with the serenity vines for you! I hope the surgeon will be able to give you some answers, and you can get the biopsy done quickly so you can get treated quickly. Lots of positive thoughts coming your way!

I hope you can enjoy your trip to NYC, worrying doesn't help so try to relax and enjoy! (I know, easier said than done...)

Happy Solstice Pat! Sorry about your troubles (yours and Shadows) :sad: The positive today.....the northern hemisphere begins making its way back towards the sun! We start gaining minutes of daylight heading towards spring (although it's officially the beginning of Winter :evil: ) I hope you can enjoy your trip and I'm sure once all tests are complete there will be a solution and you will get some fast relief!

(((Pat)))....I'm so sorry that your plate is so full right now!! It's enough to have two FD babies but to have your own health compromised at this time AND to have to travel!!! I pray that all of the tests will come back negative for cancer and that they will just be able to give you the thyroid meds and you will start feeling better. I'm sending you all the comfort, peace, serenity, and good health vines we can muster!!!

Shadow had 4 Ps today and a happy Mama now that he came down from the pinks!

OT: surgeon is awesome! I do not need surgery at this time but will have a biopsy of the nodule by a radiologist. The surgeon will orchestrate things....including getting an urgent appt with an Endo guy.
Seems I have two issues....cold nodule that will have to be checked for malignancy but it is smallish and he is not too worried about it; Hyperthyroid with symptoms that need to be addressed. I am confident in him and thankful that he is now organizing the procedures. Made all the difference in the world to meet with someone who took time with me and gave me all the scenarios.

Pat, I hope this means, you can put this out of you mind for the time being , and concentrate on your trip.

Glad Shadow came down from the "stinkus pinkus".

That is a good report for you on the Thyroid. At least you know what to expect now. I hope you can go to NY and feel a little less stress.

Very good report, Pat. And we will continue all that positive thinking for you. It's good to have a doctor you have confidence in--one who will coordinate your treatment and see that you get the right things done at the right times. Now you can relax a bit and go on your Xmas trip to NY and put all the thyroid stuff out of your mind for a few days.
