I don't know if it's the new med - I'm always wary of chewable meds, or the cat doing a seasonal thing, but regardless, Neko got an increase this morning. I'll put a call into the vet to see if she can find the medicine in non chewable form. The Novartis Canada website lists them in larger sizes, so I know they are available. I got a reminder call about Neko's acupuncture tomorrow, and I'm going to see if we can get a successful blood pressure check done there. Probably not the best combo with acupuncture though.
I found out something interesting about chicken flavour at the compounding pharmacy yesterday. I picked up Neko's bupe and this one didn't have to be refridgerated, because it's done in oil instead of water. And this one is roast chicken flavour instead of the chicken soup flavour of the water based one Neko has gotten to date. Neko always loves her "chicken soup" as I've been calling her bupe to date, so I was surprised that's what the pharmacist called the flavour. I'm pretty sure she'll like roast chicken too. ;-)
Foggy across the water in Vancouver, those of us on the mountainside got a bit of sunshine this morning. Cats made a bee line for the solarium. They were so cute after breffs, simultaneous face washing.
Happy Sunday everyone. Yet another Christmas party open house later on this afternoon. I'll be chomping at the bit to leave on time to get us home for PMPS.
