:lol: :lol: Tracy, I thought I had something ready to paste but copies the wrong thing.
~O) confused_cat ~O) Maggie's AMPS is affected by food, I am guilty! I always leave food overnight, as Maggie free feeds and will eat when she runs low. Well this morning when the alarm went off and I made it to the living room, she was slurp, slurp, non nom just eating. I didn't have the heart to take the dish away. I figured, well, it's Christmas, and life is short, so let Maggie have her cake today and eat it, too, right! All other P's in place. My lunch is today, I had my days mixed up and good thing I double checked with my friend.

That's it???? Just coffee and no update for us? :lol: I'm sure you are doing that as I write.

Thanks for the natures variety info! I tried the chicken flavor but it was not a hit. Of course :roll:

You are a big softie, not being able to take away Maggie's fuds. I woulda probably done the same thing. It's still a pretty good number for being food influenced.

Thanks Tracy. :lol: I am doing lots of strange things lately not getting enough sleep. I remember Maggie loved the Rabbit flavor, but it really spiked her bg. The carbs were too high.

Hi Ann,
I wouldn't worry about the nighttime food being eaten late. After all, it's the same amount of food regardless of when it is eaten! If it influenced the numbers, they will even out over the day. Not such a bad AMPS on the ATrak in any event. So go out and enjoy your lunch with your friend and have a great day.

One of those mornings, huh? I like you life is short attitude. We get very focused on the numbers we see, but whenever she does eat, her bg is going to be influenced. We just don't choose to test then. Besides, 172 ain't bad!

hmmmmmm.... sounds like I missed all the fun this morning. I can so relate! it's all i can do in the morning to measure that shot, correctly, feed the bellowing furkids, and somewhere amongst all that have some ~O) so that the focus on the day thing begins, Too funny on waking up to a slurping Maggie... ah heck: one day of that is OK - i would have done the same thing. :-D Not too bad of a start for Maggie this morning, even with the slurping/chow down.

No worries about the one number....she is mart. There is food...she is hungry = EAT. Why not? :lol:

Gosh, I am so with you on this AM madness. I don't know how Liz does it! WOW on the +4! :mrgreen:

The food issue is such an ongoing one with us too. Zener was a free-feeding kibble lover before FD, so transitioning to wet food was a challenge. Then with such poor appy, I want to feed him whenever he is interested in eating, which is only just now increasing! Must be something going around, last night I left food out for him, which we rarely do because he never eats it, and this morning - CPC! I know it was him because Tillie, our civvie, thinks what he eats is disgusting. ;-)

Hi Ella, you're right with the food evening out over the day, as I gave Maggie a poke pass until +4 with the fuds, so the 92 shows it took a while.

Hi Linda, yes not too bad with the food an hour earlier. I should use the feeder now and then.

Michelle, I know on the ~O) as we both start early with the shooting so as to get an early start.

Hi Anne, I posted and didn't see you. I know what you mean with the food and them always wanting to eat. Sometimes Maggie slurps the juice, so it's hard to judge just how much she eats. So when she's hungry, I feed, except the two hours before the pm pre-shot. I'm glad Liz made it okay to AZ. Have a wonderful day.

Thanks Melissa, I'm hoping Mags will surf some nice numbers. She keeps eating mini meals, so I have a feeling she will start a slow rise. Maggie just went btd.

Hi, just got back from a nice lunch with a friend from work days and had a great time and great food (grilled salmon, my fav). I left some food for Maggie (lc) in case she dropped, and she ate half of it, so not bad for today!

Thanks so much Devon for stopping by, and she did surf along nicely today.

Hi Ann & Tess, I know, how can we withhold food at times with their "I'm hungry" faces!

Hi Roni, yes we had two greens today. I did give her a small treat of bf, too.
