I gave J.D. some Sophisticat last night at +6.5 and he ate it, but doesn't want it this morning. It's raining outside. When J.D. went outside this morning, he left the deck, but didn't go far, and I got him back inside fairly quickly.

Nice start for J.D. this morning. It's crazy how they'll eat a food one day and turn away from it the next day. I hope you get some snow soon.

Hi Dyana - does J.D. have issues with storms? We were up all night with Leo refusing food - he hates the storms and it really affects his BGs if he's sliding. Hope he feels like having some fuds! Have a great (icky) day.

Morning Dyana, nice amps for JD! I don't blame him for not venturing too far lol. Funny how one day they will eat something and the next not huh? Oh well they are cats right!? Hope you have a great day!

I'm just trying to get him to eat lower carb food again, and he's eaten some of it. I do want him to gain weight though, so I'm going to give in and feed him some of his favorite 10% FF Roasted Turkey.
The rain stopped, it was pouring for a while, and now he sun is out. And I'm sure my cats will go out in the mud later.
Right now, I just opened the basement door and J.D. went up and down the stairs twice and now seems to have settled down there.

Good morning Dyana. J.D. is starting your day off with some nice numbers. Sounds like he felt like having an Oatmeal breakfast this morning. Neither of our cats like the rain either.

I took a nap on the couch and J.D. took a nap down in the basement. I just called him and he came up. He just ate a mixture of food from the different food bowls around the house, and is now on the couch washing his face. I think Ginger is outside in the mud. Nope, she just came in. It's amazing how her (both my cats) white paws and everything stay clean (unlike a drooler) when she goes out walking in the mud. So the cats seem fine and happy.
I can't feel J.D.'s back bone as much. He still has that dental appointment on January 19th that I may or may not keep, but that's the plan.
 
Blue surfs are wonderful - you can get some sleep if needed or be productive - it's nice to have the option every now and then. Worry factor = zero! Hope your rain turns to a gentle snowfall, but I think a blizzard is in your near future. Stay safe and warm over there!

Oh, a snow blizzard for Christmas would be wonderful :-D :mrgreen: :razz: :-D I would love it!

The sun went behind some clouds and it is a little windy, and of course cold, outside. I just took the kitties for a little walk around one of the wooded areas, and Ginger lagged behind, so I told J.D. to wait, and he did, while I went to herd Ginger in the right direction. J.D. did some trotting :-D on the way home, ..and got such "Good Boys" that he felt he deserved a treat when we got home and followed me to the frig. I have to cook him some steak but it's not thawed out yet, so I had a little bit of his Birthday lobster in the freezer and I thawed that, and he is happy happy.

I'm thinking of taking Ginger to PetsMart to find a new bed (probably from the dog section).

J.D. just had the purrfect poo. Such little things that make me happy. :lol:
 
Nice numbers J.D.....glad you guys are having a nice day....amazing that poops make so many people happy here on this forum. Wow....we don't need much, do we? LOL :YMHUG:
