Happy Hump Day!!! Many thoughts and prayers today to Celi and Tam.....we hope Tam will recover quickly and get back home and out of ICU. Also sending healing vines to all our ill LL kitties and beans.
Finally some green! I started a new pen so I have no idea if the blue numbers last night were coincidental with the new pen or the flat yellow yesterday. However....we need to see more consistent normal numbers....soon. (Baby Gracie...read that as a veiled threat). Mike was BIC last night and every time he would come to get her to test, I'd have to de-snuggle her from my arms and hand her over. If I could have seen the look on her face in the dark, I'm sure it would have been "TRAITOR!" She would snuggle down in with me and we'd both get cozy warm and then after Mike tested and brought her back to bed, I'd have to get her little sweet toes all warmed up again because they'd be cold. Poor darling!!
DM sounded much better last night when I talked to her. Very lucid and starting to ask good questions about her finances, her new apt, etc. She still has a couple of pockets of infection in her colon and so a few more days at the hospital, I think. Thank you all for your continued prayers.
I'm off to TBP but will leave you with one of my favs of last year. Sorry it is a repeat for those of you who were around last year but it's so adorable....a Gracie classic just like her stink eye picture (which will NOT be one of the days of Christmas)   Have a wonderful day!!
On the fifth day 'fore Christmas, my true love gave to me
Gracie in a wifebeater tee!
