12/21/ Esmeralda Update

[Danette & Esmeralda (Essi)]

Good Morning All,

All is good here (except for the continuous rain/down pour) in So California. Esmeralda is doing great. Last week she didn't come bug me for breakfast, thought it was odd, and sure enough tested her 134 , just as I suspected she got into the kibbles. She has found her way on the bar and found them. However I did switch Zoe and Tigger to Innova EVO Cat & Kitten Dry, but still increased Essi's numbers; who knows how much she ate overnight. Re-tested her the next morning and she was fine, and been fine ever since.

Otherwise I still keep a close eye (both lol) on her, and test her every couple of days. I do have a vet apt 1/14, to discuss w/the dr, how Esmeralda is off her insulin, and to introduce her to this board, food, etc. DH says not to get my hopes up; but, if she isnt reseptive to what I have learned, maybe she can pass my number on to others that I can help. I will keep you updated as to what happens on the 14th.

Danette...so great to hear from you and see that Essi is doing so fantastic...despite the contraband :lol: :lol: I, personally, miss your daily, positive condo but so happy that Essi remains at the falls. Have a wonderful Christmas my friend.
