Big bounce for Bell today, but a well earned one. Her cycle, from what I poked, was decreasing all day, so I'm really hoping she clears this tonight and snaps back to those blues and greens. If I had to bet, I'd prolly say she hangs out at these higher numbers, she seems to show a reaction to the initial increase but then can't repeat the performance. To be fair, the last dose increase this happened I backed off on. We shall see. Paws crossed for Bell.
Got a urine ketone sample tonight, which showed between negative and trace. I am still waiting for her urine culture results. I'm reallllly hoping I get them back on Monday before Christmas, but I'm not holding me breath.
Early this morning she threw up a few times, one of which was while I was carrying away from the carpet
. I'll spare you the details on that one. Got some ondansetron in her after that and her appetite was great the rest of the day. She seems fine otherwise besides all the drinking and peeing. Cleaning the litter at these high numbers is really not fun. It doesn't clump it just sticks to everything. Poor girl, would like to give her a break from that for a longer period of time.
