Are you stalling? And if so, don't feed.
It does kinda make you wonder where Sumo's numbers were during the PM cycle.

Rechecked and got a 78, went ahead and fed, but have not dosed yet. Still give the 2.75unit?

Can you stall another 15 min-1/2 hr to see if the number comes up??
Will you be home to monitor him?
See what I mean about insulin still being in the shed eve though you didnt shoot?

Shouldnt have fed, now you will get a higher number from the food, test always comes before feeding for an accurate bg number-OK?--We'll just have to work with it.

tested 74 ,waited 20 min, tested again 78. Went ahead and gave food. I guess I should have waited for the number to go higher. What number do you want to see before I should feed and dose??

I will be at work all day. Can come home during lunch approx 5 hrs from now. Should I shoot full dose of 2.75u ?

Mary you have 3 options: Dont shoot..
Shoot a BCS dose, just something to keep him surfing, like half the reg dose.
Staying home & shooting full dose(2.75) and monitoring him during the day.
As you will be out for 5 hours I suggest leaving out MC food if you shoot the BCS dose, just to keep him safe.
Please post his number when you come back in 5 hrs..This is all good!

Gave half dose of insulin, left MC food before leaving for work. Had an opportunity to leave for lunch early and got home for a +3 which was 281. Will post again tonight.
