Simon greeted me early this morning with the lovely sound of throw up. I changed his lc food to what I though was a higher quality lc food but I guess it doesn't agree with Simon. I'm going back to good old Friskies. He did really well yesterday and this morning he is only a little higher than yesterday. Besides throwing up, he is his usual self -- eating really well, purring and playing. I was also able to finally test his urine with a ketone stick and it was negative. Some of the higher quality foods are also higher in fat. In addition, some kitties need to be transitioned slowly to new foods. I'm not sure what you're feeding, but I get pukus with Gabby if I give her anything with beef.

Sienne, it is funny that you said that Gabby gets sick when you give her anything with beef. I usually feed Simon turkey, chicken or seafood cans but I gave him a beef one last night. Maybe he is beef sensitive!

no wonder they don't waste their time trying to take down a cow!

Celi, thanks for giving me a laugh with your comment about cats not taking down any cows. My DH and I cracked up with that joke! I don't think I will be feeding Simon anymore beef.
