Good day!

Morgaine continues with high blues. If she doesn't come down a bit today I will fatten the dose again.

Last night while I was cleaning her box she pee'd on the rug. I watched it all unfold. she came to the bathroom door, saw me cleaning the box and squatted and pee'd. I did lol at this since she obviously had to go and I was not letting her get to the box. I had the opportunity to try the Miracle neutralizer on fresh urine. We shall see how it goes. Still drying and I have it covered with my colander so it can dry since you need to keep kitty away from it when wet. My life revoles around Morgaine, !

Will be back later as I am off to help my friend who is going through chemo and is not doing so well with it all but better than she thought she would do.

Sending healing vines to all in need.

Hi, Rosalie,

An excellent use of a colander! How great that Morgaine is in the blue. Keep it up, Morgaine, and I don't mean peeing outside the box.

You're a good friend to help during chemo, and I'm sure your presence is a comfort to her. I hope her condition improves.

Just when she's ready to use her box like a good girl, mom is in it!

I'm sending get well vines for your friend. I'm sure you are just what she needs.

hahaha that's funny - not funny to clean up, of course, but i've had the cats climb in the box while i was cleaning. even without litter in there. i always imagine their little legs crossed "i can't hold it mom!" and i get out of the way!

my sis in law has just been diagnosed with breast cancer - lumpectomy done 11/25, a second surgery to get more, and now a mastectomy in the near future. it sucks. they are clear across the country from me - i'm going to have to figure out how to help from here.

Re: 12/20 Morgaine AMPS 176

Thanks for the good thoughts for my friend. She is doing very well considering. she was dx'd with ovarian cancer but it was stage 2 not 4 so they are all hopeful that this round of chemo will be the cure. He Dr. is very encouraging which is unusual considering what she is dealing with. She is tired and weak but of course that is what happens with chemo. So just having a friend around to vent to and hang out with has been helpful for her. Besides, she knows how much I have been through and that gives her some strength as well. I am pleased to offer whatever I can after all she has helped me with.

Hope all of you with loved ones going through anything like this will see positive results. There are really good outcomes these days but chemo is what it is and it takes its toll.

Back to my sweet girl. She is in the green and has been using her box since her squat last night. It really WAS funny and not too difficult to clean up. I now have a 5 gallon plastic pailwith a lid for depositing used litter and paper towels. I have my system down and am waiting for the new bedding before opening the bedroom up again. Sleeping on the sofa is just fine with me. I have my flat screen TV, cozy clean blankets and Morgaine. That is all i need. I get to see what she does all night which is mostly sleep but she likes to sleep by the patio door and peek out through the closed blinds, watching all the activity in the early AM as people leave for work etc. We live next to the gate so there is lots of activity in the early AM.

I am still not caught up here so let me just hope that everyone is doing well and getting all that you need accomplished during the rush to the holidays. I generally do lots of observing as I celebrate Hannukah and this year I am doing that with Morgaine. Friends are out of town so it's me and my girl and the menorah.
