Sorry for the delay in my answearing but to to no internet access i dint see your msg on time so the dose was 1.5U ..Should I proceed tomorrow with 1.75U?

Yes, I would increase

It doesn't look like the problem was insulin going bad

You want to increase every 3 days till you start seeing numbers below 200. If numbers stay over 300, you would increase by 0.5U and not 0.25U.
