Yesterday

Today is an example of why I do not feel comfortable using R in conjunction with the Levemir at shot time. She dropped 300 points in 3 hours. I do not want her to drop any faster. I have used R late in the cycle to keep her down. 1u of R will drop her 100 points over 2-3 hours (See 11/29 on the spreadsheet)

I knew she must have been in better numbers because I woke up and she was sleeping between our pillows. If it not breakfast time, the only time she is upstairs is when she feels good.

Hopefully I will have time today to come back and visit. Off to clean the house and decorate the tree!

I agree, that wouldn't have been a good combination. Looks like the R is better for Hyde late in the cycle, which I know is difficult for you on work days. Paws crossed that the new dose works well for her.

An important part of using R is knowing when not to use it. Good to be cautious.
