Happy Caturday!! It was Catnip Saturday in Gracieland this morning and there were two extremely wild Scottish Folds racing around here. I believe it was Gracie and Tobey but it was hard to tell with the speed with which they were zoom zooming. I guess they felt well rested :lol: :lol: :lol: Gracie is hysterical when she runs because of the way she holds her tail somewhat to the right and crooked in the middle. If she's not wildly racing around here, her tail is straight up. And of course, Tobey....he holds his tail like Eyeore unless you speak to him and then the tail goes straight up. Mike said he thought the caption for Gracie's selfie with Lupita yesterday should have said SHE'S behind me isn't she????? :lol: :lol: :lol:

I was hoping the extra jooce would ward off the bounce but looks like not so much. But...it's only the 5th cycle of the increase and Missy G is a bit of a slow responder at times.

Wishing many healing vines for Tricia's kitties, Blackie, Webster, Carla's Callie, Ann, Elise's Mom, Amy's Dad, and any others in need. I'm making scads of truffles today for the neighbors and then I really think I might be done with all the Christmas prep. Have a great day.

On the Eighth Day of Catmus, Gracie said to me
"Bah Humbugs!" at the Santas and the tree!!


It's not the Santas or the tree, mama! It's this silly bow with a bell!!!

ohmygod_smile I've been making truffles ALL day! And I accidentally cut my thumb. I thought I had the bleeding stopped and I looked down just now and there's blood on my keyboard. At least I look better than my neighbor. He had pneumonia and tried to get out and about too soon and he fell into what we call "decomposed granite" which is a ground cover with some rocks in it. He looks horrible! Ten stitches around his nose, both eyes black, cheek looks almost burned like road rash.

Depending on my stupid thumb, I may or may not be on tonight. Gotta grab dinner now. Thanks for the visits!
 
Did you at least test your BG when you were bleeding all over the kitchen?

Note to Mike - hide the knives. Don't let Marje use anything sharper than a spoon. :lol:
 
You definitely get the prize for the most entertaining condo of the year! I hope your finger is okay and that you and Mike had a nice dinner.
 
Perhaps a tiny (pitcher) of margaritas? Pour a small glass to soak your thumb in, and then drink straight out of the tiny pitcher?
 
Definitely, I need margaritas except I'm the BIC. Mike doesn't get home until after midnight.

No, I don't need stitches; I do have it wrapped now so I can type ok. I made 172 truffles today; white chocolate/chocolate; milk chocolate/chocolate; milk chocolate/peanut butter; dark chocolate/mint. And, true to my "no sweets" since Aug 1, I made it through without even tasting any of the chocolate at all! YAY!

And Carl....Mike is not the one to warn about knives. He almost cut his finger off one year trimming a mesquite and called me at work and said "uh....IF I was going to go to the ER, which one would I go to?" :lol: :lol: :lol: Multiple stitches required.

Gracie! Time to get into the Christmas spirit! :lol: Her face is SOOOOO expressive.

Hope your cut feels better soon! I think Carl's idea on margarita therapy makes sense. ;-)
