Furball was happy & purry this morning. I'm hoping she'll show me what she's doing on this dose today.

Callie's wound has healed a lot. There is still a small slit-like opening. I don't think it's going to heal completely. The vet said it has to heal with no hole left under it or more pus can develop. The last couple of days I haven't seen any pus. I've been rinsing it with the saline rinse I bought. They've given me an AB for her, but I can't remember if the vet said she'll have to take it for as long as she has left or a certain amount of time. I left a message with the vet who saw her, but she's out until Tuesday.

Furball, mamabean wants to see what you've got. So. Show her! A little slide, a little surf. C'mon girl.

Vines to Callie. She's quite the trooper. So's her mama. Time and comfort wee one.

Of course Furball gives me flat yellows when I'm home all day.

Elise, Callie is taking an AB for the wound and bupe for the pain. The cancer was not treatable. We are just keeping her comfortable. The vet said there is really nothing you can do for the wound but keep it clean and try to keep it from getting infected. She is also Hyper-T and takes a pill for that. Since we don't know how much longer she'll have, there is no point in taking anything else.

Re: 12/20 Furball AMPS=283 +2=257 +4=262 PMPS=305 New Syring

All I can say is yuck on Furball's numbers today. I don't know if I gave a fur shot or she just bounced.

I've been using the new syringes for a couple of days. Overall I like them, but I have been getting some small air bubbles. I used to get air bubbles in the Relions too. I don't know if it's just me or all syringes have that problem. They are smooth and easy to move. The lines are easy to read. Here are the syringes that I bought from ADW: SureComfort U-100 Insulin Syringes - Half Unit Short Needle, 31G 3/10 cc 5/16 in - Box of 100 http://www.adwdiabetes.com//product...-needle-31g-310-cc-516-in-box-of-100_1316.htm

Yep, those numbers are in the yucky side, Furball. It may take a bit of recalibrating with the new syringes. I'm glad Callie is doing well. You're doing a super job of managing everything, Carla.

Hi Carla ~O) ~O) ~O)

Here's to better numbers for Furball! Blues little one. I hope she comes down soon for you.

I am glad that Callie's wound is healing. That is wonderful. Yoyu have done sow ell with her care.

I alwyas had bubbles in the syringes I used. Some days were worse than others. I figured it was a combo of me, and the syringe. ;-)

Hope your day has been a good one.

Oh yuck Furball!! What are you doing all the way in those stinky pinkies???

I'd bet it has to do with the new syringes too....each brand has so many variables! It's really frustrating that they don't have some kind of uniformity!!

Come on down now Furball....Christmas is coming and your mamabean would love to see some green!

Good to hear Callie is doing so well too....hopefully she'll be able to get that last little bit closed, but you're doing a wonderful job keeping her comfortable and as healthy as possible

Hope the rest of your weekend is great, Carla!
