Bouncy in the morning, smooth surfing in the evening.

Everything looked pretty good last night. Nice low pre-shot. He generally climbs quick in the morning so I figured I would shoot then monitor. :-D He seems to be caught up as far as hydration goes, so I am going to skip fluids as long as there is no nasty bounce, and see if he holds his own.

I go back to school January 18th and my schedule is a little skewed. Mondays and Wednesdays, I will have one class from 12:30 until 2:45pm, Tuesday and Thursdays will be tricky though. I have class from 9:00am until 11:45, 12:30 until 3:15, then 5:30 until 8:15. Technically, I could shoot at 8:30, but then I would have to leave with no testing all day...I am really not sure about getting up at 4am either. Looks like the best option is if someone else learns how to shoot...

Anyway...hope everyone has a great day! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O)

Re: 12/20 Frank AMPS 109

I'm hoping Frank decides to surf and not skyrocket!

BTW, what is the number supposed to be yesterday at your AM +6. I really doubt that Frank's BG was 33423.

Re: 12/20 Frank AMPS 109 /+9 100

It's supposed to be 33 and 423. I think we decided that it was probably a bad strip. I edited to clarify that there are two numbers.

Not the greens, but surfing really nicely in the low blues today.

What a BLUEtiful flat cycle! Anything below 120 is considered normal numbers so this is GREAT for him. Keep on keeping blue Frank. :-D

Wow Tina! What a great cycle for Frank :-D Can you even believe this is the same cat
Great news about his hydration. Now lets work on 'someone' else to help with the tests and shots ;-)

What's his logic? The shots are much easier, don't you think?

I'm glad yesterday was a false alarm and sorry I had to leave....had an appt and just caught that 33. He's had some nice numbers since then! :-D

My DH wouldn't shoot for a while either. I think he was afraid he'd give a fur shot and I would be cat(2)_steam cat(2)_steam cat(2)_steam

That's what Brian says. I agree, shooting is easier than testing. He is so afraid he is going to mess it up. I was a phlebotomist in my twenties so ... Stick? Shot? IV? No problem, I got this. It's all meat and a needle to me. :-D

It's all meat and a needle to me. :-D

Brian - the worst that can happen is a fur shot. My vet had me practice a couple shots using lactated ringers just to make sure I had it down. Heck, you can practice on an orange or any fruit with a peel. Easy peasy!
