After the great carb feast of 2017, Asia dropped back down to at least 107 last night. Wondering if the sudden drop triggered a bounce or what.

AMPS 335, if she's not still bouncing, I expect her to come back down to something respectable in a short time. It's a nice change that she's fighting to stay in greens instead of fighting to stay in pinks like she used to! :cat:

+1 380, looks like a bounce to me. Will know better when I get back from appt, but if it's a bounce, that looks like a stress free pass to be out all day! Since the FD my walking distance has gone from 6-10 miles a day average to more like 4! :blackeye: And that's not jogging or intentional exercise, that's just living life and walking where I need to go. I'm hoping that once I figure out how to leave what food when I'm gone and manage this crazy preshot to +4 madness, I will have a bit more freedom. Eye on the prize!

Beautiful run of greens yesterday!:D Asia is a lucky kitty to have a bean like you! :bighug:
Aw, thanks, but I am the lucky one, she is the best cat! :cat:

Loads of progress for Asia but not without exhaustion on the beans part. Bounce days provide relief and hope you enjoy the day Stacy.
Thanks, Karen! I'm full up on energy today, after the breakthrough last night and seeing that she can and will respond to the right carbs, I feel like I have a wee bit more control and hopefully this dance will be (slightly) less exhausting going forward! Maybe flatter cycles are in our future and I will celebrate green preshots instead of go in to panic mode about the abrupt 4 hour drop she likes to do! ;)

Sorry I didn’t get back to you last night....fell asleep.

I knew that you could halt the cycle with food, I guess what I mean is can you actually induce a bounce, since she was in a low green and I feed her to a yellow, can it snowball into a bounce going past the next shot? Or would it just look like a bounce and the next shot would right the ship again. Does that make sense?
No, you can’t induce a bounce with food. Food can increase the numbers but whenever the carbs wear off, the numbers will come back down....as you saw. The bounce is induced by dropping too fast, dropping into lower numbers than they are used to, or dropping too low.

I’m glad you were able to get some info from the “experiment". It always helps.
