Sorry I missed condos. My BF lost his job on Wed and had to borrow my laptop. I am learning to do condos on my phone. Yesterday Alska had great numbers. 141 in am and 228 in pm. But now comes the bounce

No worries. As long as you keep monitoring, that's the important thing.

Good job hunting luck to the BF.

Nice #'s yesterday! What a hard time of year for your BF to lose a job... hoping they can find something soon.

Re: 12/20 Alska amps=338

Damn that sux! Hope he finds another soon.

Not a bad bounce, he'll probably recover by tomorrow.

Re: 12/20 Alska amps=338

I think he will find something but I fear that it will not be here

Had to rest my knees today after finishing the Christmas tree last night. Alska was very comfortable on my lap all day. The others had to sleep around him but not close enough for him to see them. He definitely had the prime spot.

We will see where he is at his PMPS. Have to get more strips tomorrow. Walmart only had one package of 50 and I went through them fast.

I am so furious with Alska I cant even look at him. I ran out to get some cat food and came home to watch him pee on the creche and velvet tree skirt. Now instead of the lovely smell of pine I smell cat piss. I screamed him up to his room and was too enraged to test him. Then I gave him his shot but when I tried to put the cap back on I noticed that the needle was bent so I am almost sure he got a fur shot. I don't know if he will ever be allowed out of his room. In fact I may purchase a cage for him to live in.

I've melted down like that.

Take some time to destress.

Nature's miracle is pretty good at getting out organic odors.
Blot up as much as you can with washable towels.
Depending on the fabric, rinse if you can.
Blot again.
Use the Nature's Miracle either as a spray or a soak, again depending on the fabric.

I used fission which is awesome. The velvet is ruined and I had to wash the very old, family heirloom creche figures which do not wash well. I had to pack it away for the year. I just don't get it. He waits until I am watching so he is doing it to piss me off because it is not about the LBs.

Been there done that when it comes to melting down.

If it's not medical or litter box preferences then it's behavioural and you may want to talk to your vet about putting him on a low dose of prozac. Duvessa use to wait for me to walk in the kitchen then pee on the stove or counter. But if I'd crate her she would use her box everytime. So I put her on Prozac for about 6 months then weaned her off, problem solved. She has relasped a couple of times usually during high stress periods but I just put her back on for a few weeks and she stops again.

Duvessa is rather a drama queen to begin with and any upheaval has her either inappropriate peeing or tearing chunks out of her face. Prozac has been a life changer for her.

Oh no, oh no, oh no! I had a melt down recently too. Not related to the cat but a melt down all the same.

Hon, I'm so sorry that happened. Question though, did he ever do that before the last group of fosters came? Could it be stress from that? If you're like me, you couldn't care less what the reason is, he better not do it again! Mel might have a good idea, he made need meds to help him get over the stress.

Seems we're all having melt downs from various things. Hang in there girl, we're thinking of you.

Thanks everybody. Alska was howling in his room last night and it was clear he was stressing so I went in and sat next to him and he came over and put his forehead against my arm so I let him out so he could sleep with us.

Debbie. You may be right. He may have been angry because I did take food into the kittens before I left so he may have been reacting to that.

Dont know about Prozac but I will keep it in mind.
