12/1 Shasta

UGH...Monday after Thanksgiving...can I have one more week off?! Please?!?!?!

WCR: All Ps in place. Got a few snuggles last night at bedtime and then she left me. :sad: She was laying in front of my bedroom door when I got up this morning...this is where I usually find her in the morning, assuming she's not in bed with me. Appy is pretty good this morning and I got some supervision while brushing my teeth.

The push is on for the next 3 weeks. My students' concert is next week and lots of work is needed to get ready for it. Then, I have a group of kids that are singing at Epcot's Candlelight Processional on the last day of school...lots of after school rehearsals to get them ready. :YMSIGH: 'Tis the season...to be stressful...fa la la la la la la la la! ;-) Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

I hope today is not too stressful and goes by quick, and you come home to more relaxing snuggles with your precious Shasta.

I wish you a successful stressfree next few weeks. I can only imagine how busy it will all be, all those holiday concerts and events Good luck with everything.

Hi Dyana, Michelle, Carla & Liz ~

Shasta is doing fine tonight. She met me with chirps of HELLO and jogged next to me while I ran to turn off the alarm. She was all sorts of playful while I was getting ready to give her her PM shot. She was literally crawling over my lap and onto the chair arm to get to her coconut oil! :lol: Silly girl.

OT: Is it weird to say that today dragged on, yet each class felt sooooo short! I swear I had barely started each class when the ending bell would ring! :-x NEED MORE TIME!!! I get very focused on the end product because that is what the public sees, but I have to remind myself that it's more about the process for my students...and my stress is exactly that...MY stress. A music director friend of mine posted this tonight and it's very well stated: "I began thinking yesterday how insanely busy my life is over the next 3 weeks, and then stopped myself from complaining and thought...No...you have incredible opportunities to bring happiness and joy to so many people over these next 3 weeks. People that are struggling. People that are unhappy. People that need a lift. How many of us get to do that???? I am truly fortunate!!!"

You sound as if you will be crazy busy the next three weeks Your friend said it so well It all depends on how we look at our particular situation and what we make of it. I still wish you an extra day off just to snuggle with Shasta!

Thank you, Jane! I wish I had an extra day off, too! I guess that's what the weekends are for...assuming I'm not working. :roll:

Update on Shasta: She just came running from the LB like something was hanging from her hiney; plopped down and started licking. I checked the LB and she only peed. Is this a sign for something more serious? I'm used to checking anal glands when she does this normally, but that is involving the poopy end.
