Yesterday

Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty had a good night, ate all his nighttime fuds, and this morning was charging around trying to get us to get out of bed. He ran into my study and tackled his cube, rolling it out about 10 feet into the hall (with himself inside)!
We're getting ready to leave for the Humane Society art show in Potsdam and lunch with our friends (he's the artist who did Rusty's portrait). I'll try to get some pictures. Rusty will hold the fort. Weather is cold with rain/snow flurries.

So glad to see that nice AMPS number for Rusty. I logged on looking for info on the 2017 calendars. I've been gone too long. Rusty is one of only a few kitties I know.

I think it's called a play cube. The brand I have is Sport Pet, but I've been looking for one to replace the one Rusty ripped up in the city and had no success. It's made of nylon fabric, has 3 circle openings on 3 sides and springs open when you open the box (after then, you have to leave it open since it is impossible to get back into the box. I'm still going to do a search. I think I got the ones I have in the pharmacy.

Hi again, everyone,

We're back from the Humane Society art show. There were lots of really interesting paintings, including some by 6th graders. We had rain this morning, but it turned to snow this afternoon and the roads were terrible on the way home. The plows hadn't been out yet. We had a nice lunch with our friends. I thought you might be interested in seeing the two "takes" of Rusty's portrait together. Here's the original (the one in our house):

And here's the second print. The one in the art show. Someone must have really liked it, because it was marked "sold".

Still snowing here: wet, heavy snow. Everyone have a good evening and weekend.

Yes, Rusty's avatar was the model. The inks in the two pics are quite different. Interesting. I like them both!
