Mikan did go down to the real blue :cool: and then got down to business :eek:
Hope I can moderate it a bit - you know the drill, the faster she drops, the higher she bounces!
A lot of chores this morning but I'll try my best to test her often!

Hi Jason,
I do poke quite a bit! :p but I don't do anything really special. If she bleeds a lot, I'll put cotton pad with cold water and hold it for a while (if she doesn't run away). If I see a crusty ear, I'll wipe it with warm water cotton swab. Her ears are surprisingly resilient and seem to heal up pretty well, even after a bloody poke. :):):)

My favorite... when you get that perfect bead of blood you're about to collect to test, then she shakes her head and you lose it.... :banghead:

Even worse, when she shakes and splatters the speckle of blood on your face :facepalm: or on your white bedsheets.

Am I the only one that chews on the caps from the lancets? Those little round pieces of plastic. I gotta stop doing that, bad for the enamel. Ha ha ha

I know! Or just when you are about to prick, she jerks her head up and badly poke herself causing a bloody mess :banghead:

I put them all in a jar - I don't know why I collect them but I have a large collection now! I'm wondering if someone can use them for artwork or something ....
