Re: 12/2 - Maverick AMPS 99

He is driving us absolutely batty with his meowing starting at 5AM. He has food. Night lights. He won't stop. So I go out in the living room to sleep so my husband can at least sleep. He got locked in the bathroom again last night. So I got more sleep in the living room but my husband could hear his meowing in the bathroom. *Sigh*.

I wish I could understand what he wants. Its meowing, not yeowling. We are really starting to feel sleep deprived.

Good morning guys! What a nice amps to start the day out at! I can completely understand the yeowling at night .. mocha does it all night long .. every single night ... she never stops .. and because she is siamese she can range from a tiny soft yeowl to the yeowl that sounds like she pulled it from the deepest darkest most inner part of her soul ... I know our neighbors can hear her and wonder what the heck we are doing in our bedroom at night

Thank you for that much needed dose of perspective.   Counting my blessings now

Re: 12/2 - Maverick AMPS 99 +3 67 (on .75u)

Didn't expect this number as a +3 either. Will test again in an hour. New strips were opened this morning (new code chip).

Edit: He's contently sleeping away on the couch beside me having dreams. Glad he is sleeping so contently and soundly. Must be nice to be a nocternal cat huh. ohmygod_smile

Re: 12/2 - Maverick AMPS 99 +3 67 (on .75u)

i had to try earplugs too...but for Smudge's kitty snores...never heard a cat saw logs like that girl!

Re: 12/2 - Maverick AMPS 99 +3 67 (on .75u)

Great numbers Maverick...sorry about the night yowling...maybe you should keep waking him up from his day time cat naps so he will be as tired as you guys are at night. It's not fair that they sleep all day with their naps...and then expect the whole house to be partying at night! Geee....it's really not fair!

Re: 12/2 - Maverick AMPS 99 +3 67 (on .75u)

HAHAHA I should darnit. I think ear plugs are the way to go. They just look so sweet and innocent sleeping. Watching sleeping animals is one of my favourite things in life.

Re: 12/2 - Maverick AMPS 99 +3 67 (on .75u)

good #s for Maverick!! yay!!

sometimes even though i leave food out for Rocket he comes in the bedroom and bangs on the blinds....he doesn't do the meowing...he bangs on the darn blinds!! he's my alarm clock!!!
so what i do i get out of bed and he follows me only for me to go point at the food and i put a tiny bit of chick or beef dust (cause the one left there might be all dried up!) and so he eats away and lets me be....i leave the light on in the stove (that's his night light and mine  ) he is then a happy kitty! go figure!

DH doesn't hear it unless i don't get up and the banging continues!!! so not to be mean to DH but to give him a lil taste of what i go thru i let Rocket do it on the weekends as to wake DH up!!!!   ;-)

Today:
AMPS: 99
+3: 67
+4.7: 74
+7: 86
+9: 97
PMPS: 86 (Fifth injection at .75u)

Today he's started sneezing and the last few days I've been aware of slight nasal congestion (making soft sounds when breathing). Working on trying to figure out what is causing this. He is asthmatic but this has always displayed as throat mucous and coughing. Never nasal symptoms.

I took him to the ER at the end of August for Nasal congestion that came on in hours (crusty mucousy nose and spynx position). I never fully figured out the cause. It went away very quickly also. I had also taken him for a five minute walk outside on the grass which we rarely ever do. I think it was him hiding out in a spare room that he rarely has access to that has carpet and is never vacuumed.

This week we turned the heat on in the house (freezing weather this week). So possibly some sort of allergy?
