What was the carb% and when did he get it? You want to input that info in the comments section of the SS so that you have history on how he responded to carbs at different points in different cycles.So finally my HC food had arrived but it didnt really do much in terms of Marley.

You haven't got it wrong at all! For newly diagnosed cats (within a year of diagnosis), the reduction point is 50. Some people choose to follow the rule for cats who don't hold reductions which is 3 drops between 40 and 50 on 3 separate days. However, a drop below 40 is a reduction even if you follow the second rule.For some reason I had it in my head it was a reduction under 50.
