Yesterday

Second morning half an hour early as we correct our schedule. Was on the way back to 6/6 but we might keep 6:30/6:30 as it lets me finish the day at the office.

Because the Libre had issues yesterday, we checked pre shot against the AlphaTrak. Should be able to get a +1.45ish on the AT as well.

Bingo had all wet food for his first meal of the day instead of a wet/dry combo! :) It's still the Rx food, but a step in the right direction for a boy with a dry food preference.

Have a great day everyone.

Good luck today Kate!! Have a safe surf Bingo! 🌊 💚

What part of the curve are you referring to as extreme? The big drop to +3, the jump to 156? Food can also play into the equation and I'm not sure what food you fed and when so far today.

Compared to 2 weeks ago, he's doing amazing!

Not sure how much of his numbers today is Libre wonkiness. On the AT, he seems to be having a flatter cycle.

Generally speaking, some cats can dive at onset. More so when clearing a bounce. Some food at +1 and +2 can help flatten the first part of the cycle. For newly DXed cats, it's common to see them bounce back quickly from lower numbers. As they get used to them, the bouncing reduces.

He's doing great. Just give him time.

Thank you. It definitely feels like he dives in +1-2. It’s good to know this isn’t unusual and I don’t need to panic.

A normal Lantus curve starts to go up after nadir, a 50 point jump is not unexpected, especially if there is food in there too.

Are you home testing for ketones? If so, please mention the ketone test results on the spreadsheet (Remarks column works).
