Alex has on his purry pants today and is very happy that the monsoon that was in New Jersey yesterday seems to have departed. He and Jackson have planted themselves in the sun after having their breffis and saying hello to the birds.
I don't know what this is but all of a sudden, Alex has a little bald spot on the back of his left ear (NOT his testing ear). Well, it's been about a month. I told vet about it. It doesn't seem to bother him in any way (no scratching at it or anything). I told vet and he suggested I try using 1 tiny drop of Tresaderm every day which freaked me out because it's a combo antibiotic, anti-fungal(I think) and steroid!!!!
He thought (He wasn't positive but he thought) that 1 drop wouldn't hurt. I was nervous about it so i put it off. I finally decided to try it 2 nights ago and his number shot up into the 400's. I got him back down and then tried it again when his number was normal again and he headed back up. SEEMS like Tresaderm is the culprit (vet agrees and said to stop but is surprised that would happen from 1 teeny drop). Frankly, I'm kinda surprised too. But I'd rather look into other alternatives than have his numbers shooting up like this (is anyone else a little surprised about this or has anyone had this kind of experience)?...when I have worked sooooo hard to get his numbers to where they are now. Anyone ever have the problem with like a little bald spot and have no idea why? I guess this is a 'health' issue but I'm kinda all over the place because my mom is in the hospital with a compressed fracture of the spine and I start a new job on Monday that I don't really want but it gets me back in my industry and gives me a better footing for a better job..when it comes along. And I work from home
So now that I've talked your ears off...I hope you all have a wonderful day and feel free to vent to me ANY TIME!!!!!
BTW..back to Alex..lol..all p's are in order
