Greetings to my LL family!!!!!!!
This month has just gotten away from me. I checked my mail for the first time in like two weeks and apparently Christmas is fast approaching, judging by the amount of holiday cards I have gotten. I am still bummed that I did not get to do them this year, but that just means I have next year's card, mine AND Skooter's planned out. Heck, once the computer and printer get fixed, I could start on them now and have them ready to go for next year!
Also in the mail last night (though I do not know how long it was sitting there for) was a delivery card to sign for, so I went to the post office and a great big thank you to Liz and Anne and our dear sweet Zener for the bed that you sent. Skooter tends to be a little leary of new things, so I am going to try and put his current bed on top of the new one and see if I can get him on it that way. My feet felt great when I stood on it trying to get him on it, so I know it will really help with his arthritis. If he decides he does not like it, I may have to curl up in the fetal position and use it because it feels so good
Skooter continues to do pretty darn well! There has been very limited meowing, which makes me feel better. He is even hoping over things sometimes, which is small, but is something he wasn't doing for a long time. I am thinking that when I come home and there is food still in a few compartments, it is more to do with the fact he is not staying in that room, so he does not hear it move. I have been finding him spending more time downstairs lately. I am still trying to slowly increase his food.
I also have to say kudos to all the beans out there that have to give mulitiple medications to one or more cats. I am finding it difficult to getting used to adding the third (cosequin) to our routine. We are up to three things and soon I will be adding a probiotic as well. That is also sprinkled on the food. My question is do I need to put that on different food than I do the cosequin? I am leaning towards yes, but thought I should make sure.....I hope everyone is doing well....miss everyone and miss visiting condos.....hope to catch up with everyone soon!
