Good Morning, Everyone,
Rusty is barely blue this morning, but I'll take it! He had a good night until a coughing fit about an hour before the alarm. After he "gets up the gunk" (he has chronic congestion) he is OK. But I know the process must be uncomfortable for him. No schmooze this morning: I was working on Xmas cards. About 2 hours into the morning Rusty was meowing, so I went downstairs to discover that I had neglected to pull up the curtain and shade by his perch and he was sitting on the perch, calling for that oversight to be remedied! So we had a combing and he ate the rest of his breakfast and now is sitting in his perch above the radiator, contemplating the snowy yard.
We got a little more snow last night. The snow makes a dark, damp, cold day look beautiful. Lots for the beans to do today: finish baking the orange shortbread; walk to the post office, a trip to the wine shop in Lake Placid to get wines to take to the family Christmas, food shopping, a 25-year anniversary party at the Health Food store, bring the Xmas tree inside, more Xmas cards.
Hope all is well in LL and sending healing vines to all kitties and beans in need,
Ella & Rusty
