Hi! I'm going to be quick in my intro, because our 15-minute window to adjust the shot ends at 8 CT. (We did 7:45 this morning).
Brian felt that Johnny was high enough this a.m. to stick with the .50u for at least one more shot, since daytime drops aren't usually as eratic as night-time drops. (I was zonked out on Nyquil--bad sinus cold--so he didn't ask my opinion...imagine that!) Given his numbers today, do the dosers still feel we should step down to fat .25u given last night's 39? I'm open to suggestion on this one. In a way, I think tonight would be a repeat in a way, but if it is beneficial in any way, we're up for it. We do now that fat .25u is the likely next step in near future.
Johnny was feeling really good this afternoon. Smiling and taking sun baths while throwing some playing and sibling chasing in there.
I just got home from doing some shopping in the suburbs. I saw Crystal Bowersox (runner up from last season of American Idol, the one with the dreadlocks...and she's diabetic, so totally related, right?) and her husband buying up a bunch of stuff in Babies R Us! I saw her multiple times throughout the store and acted really cool like I didn't know who she was (or at least that's how I think I looked, haha). She smiled at me once. Next, I went next door to Wal-mart to get the diabetes testing strips and was SO tempted to yell "Crystal Bowersox is next door!" While it would have been fun to see the herd of people, it wouldn't have been cool at all. It was just fun to think it.
