I'm just seeing this. I'm so very sorry. We all know how much devotion is involved with caring for a FD kitty and what that loss can involve. My thoughts are with you.

Fly free little one. Gabby will be at the Bridge with all of our other kitties to meet you and keep you safe until you're reunited with the ones you love best.

Oh Carla honey, I'm so sorry. I hope you're holding it together as best you can. You did so much for her, with the remission, and then back on the FD train again. She had the best kitty life, with the best mom. :bighug:

Oh Carla! I'm crying as I read this news. I can't imagine your sense of loss having been through FD with Furball for so long, and so devotedly.

Dear Carla, I am very sad to learn that Furball has Gone Ahead . I haven’t checked the board much in the last few years, but this evening I found myself thinking of you and Furball, and I signed on and saw your news. What a wonderful kitty she was, so brave and such a great companion. May your memories of her always be a comfort to you.

He'll never be gone. He's your kitty. You just have to love him a little differently. Here's a story for you: After Rusty went to the Bridge I kept putting out a glass of water for him on the table (one of the things I did during his last illness because he really liked to be on the table and drinking from a glass--and i just continued doing this out of habit, or whatever). Gus has now been with us for 4 years and never showed any interest in the glass of water until about a month ago. All of a sudden he is drinking from it, just like Rusty. I like to think that Rusty is sending messages. Who knows? But it's kind of neat. Cats have their mysterious ways. Ti-Mousse is watching over you.
 
Carla, I'm so sorry. I've had some health issues, so have not followed lately. My heart and prayers go out to you. You were the most devoted and best Momma to Furball. Tons of hugs.:bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
Oh Carla....I haven't been on the board in a while but I do pop in on occasion to check on you and Furball. I always loved seeing that she was purry, and I am so very sorry to hear that she has crossed. Even though I don't get on the board very often, I always had you and Furball in my thoughts. Many hugs and prayers.
